King Arthur as you've never imagined! This bold, sizzling YA retells the popular legend with the Once and Future King as a teenage girl -- and she has a universe to save.
I've been chased my whole life. As a fugitive refugee in the territory controlled by the tyrannical Mercer corporation, I've always had to hide who I am. Until I found Excalibur.
Now I'm done hiding.
My name is Ari Helix. I have a magic sword, a cranky wizard, and a revolution to start.
When Ari crash-lands on Old Earth and pulls a magic sword from its ancient resting place, she is revealed to be the newest reincarnation of King Arthur. Then she meets Merlin, who has aged backward over the centuries into a teenager, and together they must break the curse that keeps Arthur coming back. Their quest? Defeat the cruel, oppressive government and bring peace and equality to all humankind.
No pressure.
Ari, Merlin and her Rainbow knights must pull off a heist thousands of years in the past – to save humanity’s future.
The battle against the tyrannical Mercer corporation may have been won, but the war has only just begun. Now Ari and her cursed wizard Merlin must travel back in time to the unenlightened Middle Ages and steal King Arthur’s Grail – the very definition of impossible.
But the time travellers have to tread carefully. If they come face-to-face with the original Arthurian legend, it could produce a ripple effect that changes the course of history. It’s a risky game where the past can be even more dangerous than the future.

When the Hale-Bopp soared across the sky in 1997, Amy Rose thought
it was the start of an amazing new future. Instead, it
brought news of a horrible tragedy at the Heaven’s Gate
compound just down the road. Amy had always known there was
something off about the community she grew up in. She had
been forbidden from going to school, or visiting the library
because the leader told her that there was no use learning about
a world that was about to end. But it was not until the news
of the deaths at Heaven’s Gate invaded the temple walls
that she heard a new word that explained everything...cult.Â
She must risk everything to indulge in secret trips to an
abandoned, off-limits library that teaches her everything she
was not meant to know. That Gandhi was not a space
alien. That Star Trek wasn’t real. That her community was
built on a lie. And most importantly, the banned books give
her all the information that she needs to escape. Occulted is
another shocking true-life graphic memoir about the power of
literary freedom from the people who brought you the
Eisner and Ringo-nominated,
Freeman Award-winning Banned Book Club. Ryan Estrada
(co-author of Banned Book Club) has teamed up with real
life cult survivor Amy Rose (co-author of Star
Trek:Â Connected to the Truth) to bring you the story. With
gorgeous art by Jeongmin Lee, Occulted is a haunting,
inspiring tale of bravery and rebellion that illustrates how
to recognize and fight against those who try to control you.

This bluestocking would do almost anything to save her reputation
and her grandfather's legacy...even marry a scandalous duke.
No-nonsense Jane Delaney divides her time between her grandfather's
beloved bookstore and writing newspaper columns, determined to
overcome a past that's left her with scars on her face and in her
heart. But when the store ends up in unexpected financial jeopardy
and Jane's secrets are threatened by a mysterious blackmailer, she
finds herself in desperate need of money. All seems lost until a
temptation like no other presents itself... Christopher Marsden is
the new rakish Duke of Roxby...and someone wants him dead. The
problem is, he has no idea who or why. Following a vicious attack,
he's acquired a rare affliction where he can no longer recognize
faces. But when he catches Miss Delaney attempting to steal a
priceless book from his library, Christopher can tell her apart
from the rest. Her scarred beauty stands out like a beacon, and he
doesn't want to let her go. So he offers her an outrageous
proposal: the money she needs in exchange for a marriage of
convenience and her help in catching his would-be killer. As
passion flares between the two unlikely newlyweds, dangerous truths
are exposed and hidden enemies poise to strike. Can these two
damaged souls survive long enough to find love?
In a world that demands so much from women, every hour of every
day, affirmations are a powerful part of self-care, a way of
strengthening the self, quieting the noise, and finding inner
peace. They are simple but potent words that, when spoken with
intention as a daily practice, help us become our strongest,
kindest, most real, and most comfortably imperfect selves. The
eloquent affirmations and vibrant illustrations of No One Does It
Like You combine in a fresh, timely way to bring a needed message
to millennial women, a way that is wise, beautiful, surprising, and
never saccharine or preachy. The language is singular, personal,
memorable: Regard yourself as the moon; wash everything in your
light. * When you're tempted to say "I don't know," consider that
you do, and try that instead. * Gild the Kingdom of your brain;
Keep researching * You can be true evidence of goodness for others.
And the art, filled with characters that every reader will relate
to, sets the affirmations in a real moment, reinforcing the idea
that this is a book to celebrate everything that makes us us - and
the message that you, the reader, are not alone.
New York Times best-selling author Immaculée Ilibagiza teaches
readers how to pray the rosary of the seven sorrows for greater
wisdom, strength, and forgiveness. In this new book by New York
Times best-selling author Immaculée Ilibagiza, readers will
rediscover this important message from Mary. Mary wanted the whole
world to know the seven sorrows rosary, and Immaculée not only
shares it, but explains Mary’s specific teachings for how to pray
it, as well as offers the promises attached to the prayers. The
Rosary of the Seven Sorrows dates back to the Middle Ages, but it
gained new popularity following the sightings of the Blessed Virgin
Mary that occurred in the 1980s in Kibeho, Rwanda. During these
sightings, which were validated by the Vatican, Mary asked that
this special rosary be introduced to the world. It was spread
widely to thousands of people, who then taught it to thousands of
others. Immaculée also reveals incredible real-life stories from
people who have been healed through this prayer. These miracles
include healing of addictions, healing of “incurableâ€
illnesses, including stage 4 pancreatic cancer and infertility, and
more. Besides those miracles, there are many other everyday
blessings to be had, including inner peace, healthier marriages,
happier careers, and more. Mary said, “Help me, my children, to
spread this blessing, this prayer. I will reward those who do.â€

A comprehensive overview of the semantics and syntax of indexical
shift that develops a constrained typology of the phenomenon across
languages. The phenomenon of indexical shift--whereby indexicals
embedded in speech or attitude reports draw their meaning from an
attitude event rather than the utterance context--has been reported
in languages spanning five continents and at least ten language
families. In this book, Amy Rose Deal offers a comprehensive
overview of the semantics and syntax of indexical shift and
develops a constrained typology of the phenomenon across
languages--a picture of variation that is both rich enough to
capture the known facts and restrictive enough to make predictions
about currently unknown data points. Deal draws on studies of
indexical shift in a broad range of languages, focusing especially
on Nez Perce, Zazaki, Korean, and Uyghur. Using new data from
fieldwork, Deal presents an in-depth case study of indexical shift
in the Nez Perce language, and uses this evidence to propose a
novel theoretical approach based on the meaning and grammar of
shifty operators. She explores several dimensions of variation
related to indexical shift across and within languages, showing how
the cross-linguistic patterns can be explained (and constrained)
within the shifty operator view. Finally, she contrasts indexical
shift with surface-similar phenomena, clarifying the controls
needed to test the constrained typology on new data sets.
