This volume, the third of a series, consists of applications of Mathematica (R) to a potpourri of more advanced topics. These include differential geometry of curves and surfaces, differential equations and special functions and complex analysis. The reader learns how Mathematica (R) represents domains, qualifiers and limits to implement actual proofs - a requirement to unlock the huge potential of Mathematica (R) for a variety of applications.
The book deals with functions of many variables: differentiation and integration, extrema with a number of digressions to related subjects such as curves, surfaces and Morse theory. The background needed for understanding the examples and how to compute in Mathematica (R) will also be discussed.
Dieses Buch untersucht zuknftige Entwicklungen von Machinima, da zu diesen viele Meinungen existieren, wobei zum einen Machinima als Zukunft der 3D-Animation gesehen wird, zum anderen als Subkultur, die aufhren wird, zu existieren. Diese neue Art, kreative Inhalte zu produzieren, wurde ursprnglich als die Kunst des Filmemmachens in einer virtuellen 3D-Echtzeit- Umgebung definiert. Betrachtet man jedoch die Vielfalt der Produktionen, so lassen sich drei Genres definieren: lineare Machinima, interaktive Machinima und Live-Machinima. Im Anschluss an die Untersuchung werden sechs Fallbeispiele analysiert und Erkenntnisse hinsichtlich der zuknftigen Entwicklung der einzelnen Machinima- Genres ausgearbeitet. Es stellt sich heraus, dass die Entwicklung fr jedes Genre unterschiedlich verluft und die ursprngliche Definition von Machinima veraltet ist.
