Andy Gaus is the author of "The Unvarnished New Testament, " a complete translation from the Greek, and the translator of Wilhelm Busch's classic children's book, "Max and Moritz." A composer and lyricist as well as a poet and translator, Gaus has written songs and scores for revues, musicals and operas produced in Boston, where he makes his home.
