In 2010, the Arbitration (Scotland) Act 2010 came into force with
the aim of modernising Scots law on arbitration. Building on the
previous edition, this book reviews the last 10 years: the
development of the law in Scotland, the use of the Act and the
Rules of Court, and how it all works in practice. The authors draw
on their experience in practice to provide useful tips and
references, covering all of the topics that practitioners require
on a daily basis.

Logan West's life is anything but ideal. Mindless sex, tedious
business ventures, and the occasional poker game keep him occupied,
but he only lives for one thing: fatherhood. Oliver, Logan's
three-year-old son, is his entire world. Raising him alone, Logan
finds his only joy in spending time giving Oliver the childhood he
deserves. But every other weekend, he allows himself the chance to
live as a man-a man with deeper desires. Logan knows what he likes,
what he wants, and what he needs. He has no interest in dating and
believes there's no risk worth taking for romance, but his casual
sexual escapes rarely leave him satisfied. It takes an unexpected
decision from his sister Julia and a road trip to the small town of
Harmony with his best friend, Caleb, to open Logan's eyes to new
opportunities outside his programmed world. Its not what he
expects, but Logan's always looking to indulge. This novella can be
read as the first in the Harmony series or anytime during the
series. It is not a mandatory read to enjoy the series, simply a
companion read. This novella is Logan's story of how he ended up
living in Harmony and right next door to the woman that would
forever change his life.
Book 2 in the Amazon Bestselling series. It wasn't his fault she
lay broken and battered. He wasn't responsible for the injuries
covering her bruised body. Her heart, however, told a different
story. She endured the pain of its jagged edges as it shattered
against her chest, ripping through the hope she once held. Her
spirit was broken, and only one man was to blame for that.
Cassandra Clarke had known better than to trust her all to a man
like Logan West. She'd thought he was different-a better man than
he'd portrayed to others. A man worth risking it all for. But she
was wrong, and would never make that mistake again. What happens
when you question everything you longed to believe-deny all
emotions you still hold for a man unworthy of them? Faced with
Logan's persistence, Cassandra must find the strength to keep her
guard up or risk falling again for the one man her body feels...is
irreplaceable. This book is intended for mature audiences.
It is summer and Angela eats a bowl of cherries. After she swallows
some cherry pits, her Grandpa warns what will happen -- "A cherry
tree will grow out of your ear." Angela thinks that is silly. Do
you believe a cherry tree can grow out of Angela's ear?
After experiencing a humiliating breakup, twenty-two-year-old
Cassandra Clarke is fresh out of college and living a simple
solitary life without any intentions of pursuing love anytime soon.
When the estate next door sells, the last thing Cassandra expects
is the unnerving attraction she feels for her sinfully handsome
neighbor, Logan West, the young and charming single father with a
playboy reputation. It's through Oliver, Logan's four-year-old son,
who keeps popping up in her childhood tree house, that she slowly
begins to catch glimpses of the compassionate and wounded man Logan
has hidden beneath his strong exterior. Cassandra knows it's wrong
and that she's heading for another heartbreak. Logan will never be
able to give her what she truly desires...love.
Set in Ulster, south Wales and Italy, many of the stories in 'A
City Burning' concern a point of choice and decision. Characters
reach a turning point at which their lives can become fuller and
more meaningful, but at a cost to themselves. In others they bear
witness to an event must decide whether to become involved or pass
by. They could be ordinary people in Belfast during the Troubles or
their aftermath, or during the Covid-19 pandemic, or priests facing
a new religious reality in their ministries, or family members in a
domestic situation in south Wales. Characters are forced to look
into themselves; each must make a choice of how to live their
future lives. These stories are vividly written and authentically
realised, with Graham's eye for a telling detail and instinct for a
loaded silence drawing in the reader. She has created memorable
characters and situations which linger in the mind long after the
story has ended.
