* Develops the concept of the Celebrity as a Human Fashion Brand,
which offers a fresh perspective in the Fashion Marketing field. *
Includes a broad range of well-known case studies in every chapter,
coupled with reflective questions, which can be used for in-class
exercises. * Ideal recommended reading for advanced undergraduate
and postgraduate students studying Celebrity Fashion and Influencer
Marketing, Fashion Marketing, Fashion Brand Management and Consumer
Behaviour.
Recent years have seen major changes in the approach to Computer
Aided Design (CAD) in the architectural, engineering and
construction (AEC) sector. CAD is increasingly becoming a standard
design tool, facilitating lower development costs and a reduced
design cycle. Not only does it allow a designer to model designs in
two and three dimensions but also to model other dimensions, such
as time and cost into designs.
Computer Aided Design Guide for Architecture, Engineering and
Construction provides an in-depth explanation of all the common CAD
terms and tools used in the AEC sector. It describes each approach
to CAD with detailed analysis and practical examples. Analysis is
provided of the strength and weaknesses of each application for all
members of the project team, followed by review questions and
further tasks.
Coverage includes:
- 2D CAD
- 3D CAD
- 4D CAD
- nD modelling
- building Information Modelling
- parametric design, virtual reality and other areas of future
expansion.
With practical examples and step-by step guides, this book is
essential reading for students of design and construction, from
undergraduate level onwards.

This essential book introduces the concept of nD modelling, which
takes the theory of computer modelling of the built environment to
n dimensions. nD modelling utilizes a decision support tool for
systematic assessment and comparison between various design
parameters such as cost, accessibility, maintainability,
sustainability, crime, energy, whole life costing, acoustics and
scheduling among others. Constructing the Future is a comprehensive
book which provides a global perspective on the concept of nD
modelling and examines its impact on construction, from development
to application. The text offers a critique of competing views that
seek to justify (or ignore) the role of nD modelling in the future
of construction as well as describing developments in this area
which are already happening worldwide. Presenting a thorough
critique of competing views as well as providing guidance on best
practice, Constructing the Future is a bold, well-grounded and
illustrated title introducing construction management professionals
and researchers to this exciting new development in the quest for a
single building and product model.

Innovation in Small Construction Firms promotes the benefits of
innovation, and stimulate innovation capability within and between
small and medium sized (SMEs) construction firms in an effort to
bring in a new 'can innovate, should innovate, want to innovate'
culture to the construction industry. Presenting new theoretical
and practical insights and models grounded in descriptive case
studies, the issues addressed include: what is the motivation to
innovate? what is appropriate innovation? how can small
construction firms create, manage and exploit innovation? what
practice-based models, tools and techniques support the capability
of small construction firms to innovate well? how does this fit in
the context of leading international work in construction
innovation? Findings are contextualised in the broader literature
to make them of relevance to policy makers, practitioners and
researchers interested in small, project-based firms in general.

"Take An Aspirin And Deal With It " was inspired by her 7 year old
son when he kept telling her he couldn't go to school because his
head hurt and his belly ached. She remembered the phrase her father
would say to her when she was younger and would complain of aches
and pains, "Take An Aspirin And Deal With It ." She then penned the
clever and witty rhyme, "My head hurts, my belly aches, my back
feels like it's going to break My tooth is sore, my neck is kinked,
my halitosis really stinks ...." She then put the rhyme to music.
It's a fun musical duet that can be performed at school fall/spring
programs for parents and also at different community events and
talent shows. It's sure to have the audience rolling in laughter.
It's a great book for families to read and sing together. (The song
lyrics are illustrated out in book form and the sheet music is at
the back of the book.) The children enjoy the hilarious rhyme as
well as the dramatic facial expressions, while parents enjoy how
"true to life" it is.
