Ankur Jain; Foreword by Shay Shmeltzer
R1,212 Discovery Miles 12 120 Ships in 10 - 15 working days

Build web and mobile apps quickly with Oracle Visual Builder and delve into real-time end-to-end use cases, exploring best practices, recommendations, security, and debugging techniques Key Features Execute various real-time use cases and develop web and mobile applications quickly Enhance your skills by extending Oracle and non-Oracle SaaS applications using VB Gain the knowledge needed to take on projects directly and work independently Book DescriptionOrganizations are moving their applications, data, and processes to the cloud to reduce application costs, effort, and maintenance. However, adopting new technology poses challenges for developers, solutions architects, and designers due to a lack of knowledge and appropriate practical training resources. This book helps you get to grips with Oracle Visual Builder (VB) and enables you to quickly develop web and mobile applications and deploy them to production without hassle. This book will provide you with a solid understanding of VB so that you can adopt it at a faster pace and start building applications right away. After working with real-time examples to learn about VB, you'll discover how to design, develop, and deploy web and mobile applications quickly. You'll cover all the VB components in-depth, including web and mobile application development, business objects, and service connections. In order to use all these components, you'll also explore best practices, security, and recommendations, which are well explained within the chapters. Finally, this book will help you gain the knowledge you need to enhance the performance of an application before deploying it to production. By the end of this book, you will be able to work independently and deploy your VB applications efficiently and with confidence. What you will learn Get started with VB and explore its architecture and basic building blocks Gain a clear understanding of business objects and learn how to manage them Create service connections to connect to the external API and Oracle SaaS Build web and mobile apps and run them on various devices Develop Oracle Cloud and non-Oracle SaaS app extensions Get to grips with data and application security using practical examples Explore best practices along with troubleshooting and debugging mechanisms Connect your VB application with VBS for application versioning using Git Who this book is forThis book is for IT professionals working with UI technologies to develop web and mobile applications for various industries. Developers and UI designers who want to understand how to use VB, develop scalable web and mobile applications using drag-and-drop features, and design applications in a better way with the help of real-time example apps and code samples will find this book helpful. Prior experience in any UI technology, JavaScript, and REST APIs will be useful.

Pharmacy (Paperback): Ankur Jain, Hemant Khambete, Sanjay Jain Pharmacy (Paperback)

The aim of the present research work was to investigate the potential of emulgel in enhancing the topical delivery of ketoconazole. Emulsion in gel have emerged as one of the most interesting topical drug delivery system as it has dual release control system i.e. emulsion and gel. Also the stability of emulsion is increased when it is incorporated in gel. Emulgel formulations of Ketoconazole were prepared using 2 types of gelling agents: Carbopol 934 and Carbopol 940. The influence of the type of the gelling agent and the concentration of both the oil phase and emulsifying agent on the drug release from the prepared emulgel was investigated using a 23 factorial design. The prepared emulgel were evaluated for their physical appearance, viscosity, drug release, globule size, skin irritation test, antifungal activity, transmission electron microscopy, Ex vivo Syudy, In Vivo Study and stability. Commercially available ketoconazole cream was used for comparison. All the prepared emulgel showed acceptable physical properties concerning color, homogeneity, consistency, spreadability, and pH value. The antifungal activity and drug release were found to be higher for optimized formulation .

Destabilization of Magnesium Hydride by Composite Formation (Paperback): Ankur Jain, Shivani Agarwal Destabilization of Magnesium Hydride by Composite Formation (Paperback)

Hydrogen is a possible candidate for replacing oil in the long-term in many applications such as transportation.Storage of hydrogen at near ambient temperatures and pressures is a puzzling issue for the scientific community.Hydride storage is one of the most promising, safe solutions for sustainable use. The magnesium and its alloys have attracted a lot of attention since the gravimetric hydrogen capacity is relatively important (7.6 wt. %) and the systems are reversible. The Mg-based hydrides compounds have high enthalpy of formation making them too stable for practical applications. Additionally they have some kinetics limitations that can be partially overcome by catalysts or nanostructuring of the alloys. Apart from these, another approach to lower the reaction enthalpy of MgH2 is composite preparation with the hydrogen storage materials. The present book is an outcome of the research on the destabilization of MgH2 by composite formation with hydrogen absorbing ZrCr2 alloy.

In the area of energy technology, we find hydrogen (1) in gaseous, liquid, or solid hydrocarbons; (2) in nuclear fission and fusion processes and, (3) as synthetic fuel produced by dissociation of H2O or hydrocarbons using primary energy. The gate to use hydrogen as a fuel opens through the storage of hydrogen. There are number of ways of storing hydrogen but the most practical method for onboard application is 'Metal Hydride'. Recently Zirconium based alloys have attracted a great deal of attention for their substantial hydrogen storage capacity. But the high stabilities of these hydrides as indicated by their high enthalpy values make these alloys unsuitable for hydrogen storage applications. The present book is an outcome of the research efforts to increase the equilibrium pressure and thus to reduce the stability of their hydrides. Another purpose of this study is to obtain knowledge of structural and magnetic characteristics of the alloys and relevant hydrides.
