British comedy drama linking the lives and stories of three very
different people through their ownership of the same yellow Rolls
Royce Phantom II. The first to own the car is Englishman Lord
Charles Frinton (Rex Harrison), who buys it as a birthday present
for his wife Lady Eloise Frinton (Jeanne Moreau). The car is then
bought by gangster Paolo Maltese (George C Scott) to tour round
Italy with his moll Mae Jenkins (Shirley MacLaine). In the middle
of their journey, however, Paolo is called back to the United
States to take care of business. In his absence Mae takes up with
street photographer Stefano (Alain Delon) whom she falls in love
with. The final purchase is by Gerda Millett (Ingrid Bergman), a
wealthy American widow on her way to visit royalty in Yugoslavia
during its invasion by the Nazi Germans in World War II...

Anthony Asquith directs this wartime propaganda drama. When his
actress wife Irena (Diana Wynyard) moves to Berlin to further her
career, throat specialist Dr Karl Roder (Clive Brook) decides to
accompany her, although he is vehemently opposed to the
newly-elected Nazi regime. There he meets Hans Glaser (Derek Farr),
a young engineer whose girlfriend has been incarcerated in a
concentration camp. Together, they set up their own broadcasting
service, Freedom Radio, to denounce the Nazi movement.

John Mills stars as a British submarine commander in this Second
World War drama. The crew of the Sea Tiger have their leave cut
short when they are ordered to pursue and sink a new German
battleship known as the Brandenburg. The crew's captain (Mills) is
tasked with destroying the ship before it enters the Kiel Canal but
he soon discovers that the battleship is heavily defended and is
further away than first thought. Along the way the Sea Tiger enters
German controlled seas knowing that once they succeed in their
mission they may not have enough fuel to return home.
