Asif Kapadia directs this documentary focusing on the late British
singer-songwriter Amy Winehouse. Featuring archive footage and
interviews with the artist herself, the feature chronicles Amy's
life and successful music career which was cut short when she died
from alcohol intoxication in 2011 aged 27. In addition to private
home footage, those that knew Amy, including her father Mitch,
husband Blake Feilder-Civil and collaborator Mark Ronson, discuss
her life, career and notorious struggles with drugs, alcohol and
eating disorders.
This book provides an overview on the critical role of diagnostic
imaging in the assessment of patients with suspected alimentary
tract perforation, an emergent condition that requires prompt
surgery. With the aid of numerous high-quality images, it is
described how different imaging modalities, including plain film
X-ray, ultrasonography and multidetector row computed tomography
(MDCT), permit correct diagnosis of the presence and cause of the
perforation and of associated pathologies. Particular attention is
paid to MDCT, with full description of its role in a range of
scenarios at various levels of the alimentary tract. Imaging of GI
tract perforation in different patient groups, such as pediatric
patients, the elderly and oncologic patients, is also addressed.
This volume will greatly assist residents in radiology,
radiologists and physicians who are daily involved in the
management of patients with clinically suspected alimentary tract
perforation.
This book constitutes the refereed proceedings of the 1st
International Congress on Blockchain and Applications 2020,
BLOCKCHAIN'20, held in L'Aquila, Italy, in October 2020. Among the
scientific community, blockchain and artificial intelligence are a
promising combination that will transform the production and
manufacturing industry, media, finance, insurance, e-government,
etc. Nevertheless, there is no consensus with schemes or best
practices that would specify how blockchain and artificial
intelligence should be used together. The 21 full papers presented
were carefully reviewed and selected from over 40 submissions. They
contain the latest advances on blockchain and artificial
intelligence and on their application domains, exploring innovative
ideas, guidelines, theories, models, technologies, and tools, and
identifying critical issues and challenges that researchers and
practitioners must deal with in future research.
This book gathers the refereed proceedings of the 1st International
Congress on Blockchain and Applications 2019, BLOCKCHAIN'19, held
in Avila, Spain, in June 2019. Among the scientific community,
blockchain and artificial intelligence are broadly considered to
offer a promising combination that could transform the production
and manufacturing industry, media, finance, insurance,
e-government, etc. Nevertheless, there is no generally accepted
approach, nor established best practices, for combining blockchain
and artificial intelligence. The 21 papers presented here were
carefully reviewed and selected from over 40 submissions. They
highlight the latest advances in blockchain, artificial
intelligence and their application domains, exploring innovative
ideas, guidelines, theories, models, technologies, and tools, and
identifying critical issues and challenges that researchers and
practitioners will face in the near future. We wish to thank the
sponsors: IEEE Systems Man and Cybernetics Society, Spain Section
Chapter, and the IEEE Spain Section (Technical Co-Sponsor), IBM,
Indra, Viewnext, Global Exchange, AEPIA, APPIA and AIR institute.
The aim of the book is to introduce new developments in Ambient
Intelligence from researchers of several countries. The book
includes different works in the area of Ubiquitous Computing,
e-Health, Ambient Assisted Living, Distributed Computing and
Context Aware Computing that have been selected by an international
committee. The studies have been presented in the 9th International
Symposium on Ambient Intelligence held in Toledo in June 2018.

Diagnostic errors are important in all branches of medicine because
they are an indication of poor patient care. As the number of
malpractice cases continues to grow, radiologists will become
increasingly involved in litigation. The aetiology of radiological
error is multi-factorial. This book focuses on (1) some
medico-legal aspects inherent to radiology (radiation exposure
related to imaging procedures and malpractice issues related to
contrast media administration are discussed in detail) and on (2)
the spectrum of diagnostic errors in radiology. Communication
issues between the radiologists and physicians and between the
radiologists and patients are also presented. Every radiologist
should understand the sources of error in diagnostic radiology as
well as the elements of negligence that form the basis of
malpractice litigation.

Although already in its third decade, computed tomography (CT)
remains a highly dynamic field. The rapid development of
multidetector CT (MDCT) technology has challenged the radiological
world, even more so with the increasing use of MDCT angiography and
cardiac CT. State-of-the-art MDCT techniques have been further
enhanced by innovative post-processing imaging software. The book
MDCT Body Anatomy is designed to assist medical residents, imaging
technicians, and clinicians. Its nearly 500 axial and multiplanar
illustrations comprise a comprehensive MDCT anatomic atlas of the
body able to provide prompt answers to imaging anatomy questions.
The MDCT anatomy of the chest, abdomen, and pelvis is presented in
three different parts, with every image containing an informative
legend describing the anatomic section performed.
