A brief answer to the question why the view towards the immigrants changed in 1960s could be the dissolution of the Eastern Block which caused enormous demographic changes which had as a consequence serious impact on socioeconomic level. The mobilization of a great mass of people lead European national states to ethnicise their migration policies in a way that encourage the arrival of immigrants from the simiral ethnic background, in order to achieve, a re-homogenization in the Post- Communist era. Immigrants of different cultural background rather that the majoritys were disapproved. Specifically, on the German example, immigration inflow was considered a necessity for the rebuilt of a dilapidated Germany. Germany failed on the re-patriation process of the guest process" which ended being permanent residents in the host country. It is a considerably recent attempt for the German national authorities to move integration to a policy concern and establish a new civil and social identidy for all citizens. Religious and cultural identidy are most then ever important in postmodern history of Germany. Buddhismus und orthodoxes Christentum sind unterschiedliche Wege der Suche nachgegangen, kamen jedoch im Laufe der Geschichte mehrmals in Beruhrung. Dabei sind Kontakte und Dialoge entstanden. Beide religiose Traditionen hatten Elemente, Zuge, Praktiken und Theorien antiker philosophischer Bewegungen aufgenommen und entwickelt. So erscheinen besonders der Weg und die Voraussetzungen zur Erleuchtung als gemeinsames Gut beider Religionsfamilien. Der grosse Unterschied liegt an das Ziel., Abstract: Erleuchtung ist ein geistlicher Zustand, der den Wunsch der Menschheit nach einem hoheren, der Sphare der Vollkommenheit am nachsten gelegenen, Leben ausdruckt. Der Mensch sehnt sich nach Frieden, Vervollkommnung und Gottlichkeit. Der Buddhismus und das orthodoxe Christentum sind unterschiedliche Wege der Suche nachgegangen, kamen jedoch im Laufe der Geschichte mehrmals in Beruhrung. Dabei sind Kontakte und Dialoge entstanden. Es ist erkannt worden, dass beide religiose Traditionen Elemente und Zuge, Praktiken und Theorien antiker philosophischer Bewegungen aufgenommen hatten, diese aber unterschiedlich entwickelten. So erscheinen besonders der Weg und die Voraussetzungen zur Erleuchtung als gemeinsames Gut beider Religionsfamilien. Der grosse Unterschied liegt an das Ziel. Orthodoxe erleuchtete Menschen sehnen sich nach dem gottlichen Tabor-Licht, das Licht der Verklarung Christi. Buddhisten wiederum sehnen sich nach Nirvana und Beendigung des Inkarnationskreises. In dieser Hausarbeit wird ein Vergleich zwischen Erleuchtung und erleuchtete Personen in beiden Religionsfamilien versucht.
