Extended cut of Francis Ford Coppola's tale of gang rivalries in 1960s Tulsa, Oklahoma.

Based on the novel by S.E. Hinton, the story depicts the ongoing feud between the rich middle-class 'Socs' and the working-class 'Greasers' from across town, which include 14-year-old Ponyboy Curtis, his brothers Darrel and Sodapop and 16-year-old Johnny Cade.

The simmering feud escalates into murder, revenge and betrayal when some of the Greasers get too close to one of the Socs' girlfriends.

When his family is murdered by escaped convict Tate (Kim Coates), ex-lawman Matt Austin (Perry) follows the killer's trail into Mexico. Realising his mistake, Austin makes a promise to the dying man that he will do all he can to protect his widow (Jaclyn DeSantis) and young son from the avaricious advances of Horn and Tate.

Thunder Levin directs this zombie gore-fest in which a group of survivors try to flee Los Angeles. After a series of unusual solar flares transforms LA's massed street gangs into hordes of flesh-seeking zombies, a disparate bunch of survivors realise their only chance to try to make it out of the city alive is by joining forces and getting their hands on every last piece of firepower they can find.
