Aidan, a burned out, suicidal theologian from Mississippi mysteriously travels back in time to the Isle of Patmos, where he meets the aged apostle John. Thus begins an extraordinary 3-day conversation, with tormenting flashbacks to his childhood, mind-blowing visions and revelations, sorrow and joy. Aidan has a thousand questions, St. John wants to know about history, but his abiding mission is Aidan's liberation. Through love and dreams and astonishing discussions the wise apostle reveals the lie of all lies--separation from God--preparing Aidan for a life-changing discovery. Aidan has a vision of heaven and beholds the Lamb upon the Throne of all thrones, with the entire cosmos flowing from his side, leaving him speechless in hope. John proclaims, 'In that day you shall know that I Am in My Father, and you in Me, and I in you, ' as the secret of all waiting to be discovered. The Holy Spirit shares a vision with John of the next awakening in Western history, and the great apostle commissions the restored Aidan to preach the truth of all truths.
Millions have found their spiritual hunger satisfied by William P.
Young's #1 New York Times bestseller, The Shack--the story of a man
lifted from the depths of despair through his life-altering
encounter with God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy
Spirit. Now C. Baxter Kruger's THE SHACK REVISITED guides readers
into a deeper understanding of these three persons to help readers
have a more profound connection with the core message of The
Shack--that God is love.
An early fan of The Shack and a close friend to its author, Kruger
shows why the novel has been enthusiastically embraced by so many
Christians worldwide. In the words of William P. Young from the
foreword to THE SHACK REVISITED, "Baxter Kruger will stun readers
with his unique cross of intellectual brilliance and creative
genius as he takes them deeper into the wonder, worship, and
possibility that is the world of The Shack."
Wm Paul Young's 2008 novel THE SHACK was a worldwide publishing
phenomenon. Millions found their spiritual hunger satisfied by the
New York Times bestseller - the story of a man lifted from the
depths of despair through his life-altering encounter with God the
Father, God the Son and God the Holy Spirit. Now, respected
theologian C. Baxter Kruger returns to the shack and the vision
that Wm Paul Young created in his story of loss and redemption.
Kruger helps us to explore and understand the deeper meaning of the
Trinity, the intricate concept of God in three persons and our
relationship to him.In THE SHACK Wm Paul Young invited us into a
place of healing and transforming love; in THE SHACK REVISITED, C.
Baxter Kruger invites us to return to that place and explore more
deeply the theology behind the story.
"Jesus and the Undoing of Adam" is straight from the heart of St.
Athanasius and the early Church. In this short but powerful book,
Dr. Baxter Kruger takes us back behind the back of Augustine to
rethink the work of Jesus Christ in the light of the blessed
doctrine of the Trinity. Dr. Kruger sets forward a stunning vision
of the Triune God and articulates a view of Christ's incarnation,
life, death, resurrection and ascension that is rigorously
consistent with the truth that the Triune God eternally purposed
our adoption in Jesus Christ.
C. BAXTER KRUGER is the Director of Perichoresis, an international
ministry sharing the good news of our adoption in Christ with the
world. He and his wife Beth have been married for 25 years and have
four children. He earned his Doctor of Philosophy degree under
Professor James B. Torrance in Aberdeen, Scotland. Baxter is the
author of seven books, including "The Great Dance" and "Across All
Worlds, " and teaches across the United States, Canada and
Australia. He is an avid outdoorsman and holds two United States
patents for his fishing lure designs. He is the founder and
President of Mediator Lures.
Jesus Christ is not a theoretical idea or a mere concept far
removed from our human experience. In Across All Worlds, Baxter
Kruger brings us face to face with the fact that Jesus has
established a very real and personal relationship with us in our
darkness. Jesus accepts us and walks with us because he is
determined that we come to know His Father with him and life in His
embrace.

"The Great Dance" is astonishing vision of human life and the
mystery of its intersection with the life of the Triune God. Dr.
Kruger charts a course from the Trinity to the incarnation to the
union of humanity with God in Jesus Christ. In that light he offers
a breathtaking interpretation of our human existence as
participation in the life of the Father, Son and Spirit. He
uncovers the untold dignity of our ordinary humanity--from
motherhood to baseball, from relationships and music to golf,
gardening and designing lakes. This is a book about who we are and
why we are here and what is really happening in our lives. Step by
step, Dr. Kruger walks us through the stratagems of evil and the
messes we make of our lives. More important, he explains why we
hurt, what we are really after and how to get there, and why faith
in Jesus Christ is so critical for abundant life. "The Great Dance"
is theology at its very best--steeped in tradition, yet unfamiliar
and exciting, even revolutionary; deeply personal and honest, yet
universally relevant.
Written with pace and poetry and winsome grace, "The Great Dance"
is the voice of the ancient church speaking to us across the ages
through the pen of a Southerner who loves life.
C. Baxter Kruger (Ph.D., Kings College, University of Aberdeen) is
a theologian, writer, and fishing lure designer. A native of
Prentiss, Mississippi, he has worked as a minister to college
students, as a lecturer in theology, and as an associate pastor. He
is an avid fisherman and golfer, loves coaching little league
baseball and has designed a range of fishing lures called "Dr. K's
Klones." He and his wife Beth have three children -- Baxter, Laura
and Kathryn.

you to see it too. At the heart of the universe stands a set of
relationships. Father, Son and Holy Spirit created you out of love
to share in their love. Jesus has done everything to make this
happen. Nothing is greater and nothing is better."
-Ken Blue, author of "Healing Spiritual Abuse and The Authority to
Heal"
"Jesus Christ is not a doctrine, but a person who knows his Father
. . . Across All Worlds takes this ancient truth and reality of
'Christ in us' and breaches Western cognitive dualism to help us
engage our hearts and bodies in Jesus' relationship with us."
-Bruce Wauchope, M.D., Adelaide, Australia
"All that Dr. Kruger writes is rooted in the unswerving belief
that the Father, Son and Spirit are not interested in some
theoretically perfected humankind but rather cares deeply about
each one of us here and now, in our flesh, in our daily
world."
-David Jennings, Attorney, Vancouver, B.C.
"For those who are compelled to 'kick at the darkness 'till it
bleeds daylight, ' Baxter Kruger's Across All Worlds is a steel
toed boot." -?Steve Bell, Singer/Songwriter, Winnipeg, Manitoba" .
. . A wrecking ball through the stained glass certainty of
Religionland, and at the same time a balm to heal the sin-sick soul

"That God should be 'for us' will be a remarkable and transforming
discovery for those who have grown weary under the whiplash of a
theology that drives us to 'do something for God ' I wish that
overburdened pastors could read this book before ever preaching
another sermon and uninspired Christians could inhale its fragrance
before going to church "
- Ray S. Anderson
Professor of Theology and Ministry, Fuller Theological Seminary
"When I picked up "God is for Us" I read it through in one
sitting, in an hour. I could not tear myself away from the sheer
goodness of the triune God that Baxter Kruger conveys in this short
book. But then I had to go back and read it carefully through
again, in order to allow the deep truths to penetrate my life
afresh. Here is a clearly presented exposition of the profound
truth that we are created to be with God forever " - Graham Buxton
Senior Lecturer and Head of Ministry, Tabor College, South
Australia
""God is for Us" is a must read for those working with damaged
people. As flowers open up to the sun, so wounded souls open to the
light of God's goodness. Many mentally unwell patients have been
transformed by the reality of God's goodness to us in Jesus Christ
as laid out in this little book."
