El presente trabajo fue producto de la colaboracion interdisciplinaria y la participacion en trabajo de campo en invernadero, trabajo en laboratorio, en aula y de revisar extensamente la literatura sobre un cultivo especifico: el jitomate. Con ello nos planteamos un objetivo concreto: conocer y valorar a profundidad el efecto de los cultivos hidroponicos en 5 variedades de jitomate, conociendo las caracteristicas organolepticas que es posible obtener en los cultivos, merced a el empleo de las tecnicas de hidroponia en invernaderos. Los resultados se valoran mas alla de la subjetividad al emplear la herramienta estadistica, contrastar datos y efectuar analisis y discusion de los resultados. Todo lo anterior nos permite concluir las ventajas de las tecnicas de la hidroponia, mas el trabajo interdisciplinario para mejorar produccion de este y otros cultivos susceptibles de tratarse con estas tecnicas en aras de optimizar los recursos en un mundo que cada vez necesita mayor sustentabilidadd y cuidar el entorno."
