Animated adventure about a sled dog team, led by the adventurous husky, Balto. This film mixes live action and animation. Bob Hoskins plays a seedy private eye who is sent on an investigation in Toon-town, an L.A. suburb which houses all the cartoon characters. Jessica Rabbit, a sexy, almost human toon, is up to all sorts of mischief and Hoskins is out to find out exactly what she's doing, involving himself in murder and intrigue.

Freddy is out to exact his revenge on the children of those who burned him alive in retribution for his crimes. The only way to avoid Freddy's reprisals is to avoid sleep, but Nancy knows that she can't stay awake for ever.

Balto, the heroic wolf-husky cross-breed, and his husky mate Jenna have had a litter of puppies and are doing their best to ensure that they all find a good place within human homes. However, no family seems to want to adopt their daughter Aleu, who is noticably different to all the other puppies. When Balto then tells Aleu about her wolf heritage, she becomes very upset and runs away; Balto follows after her, and soon father and daughter are caught up in an exciting adventure of self-discovery in the frozen north.
