Crunch Calhoun (Russell) believed he was destined for greatness but, having now reached middle age, finds himself struggling to scrape a living as a motorcycle stuntman. Tired of risking his life for a few hundred dollars a time, Crunch is drawn towards his criminal past and contacts his estranged brother Nicky (Dillon) to see if he is interested in arranging a lucrative heist. Crunch has his eyes on a grand prize, a highly valuable Gutenberg Bible, and assembles a team to take on the daunting challenge of seizing it from its high security location.
