Jahrhundert. Erstmals wird dabei der Versuch unternommen, mit Hilfe der ornamentierten Bauglieder die Stilentwicklung des pamphylischen Architekturschmucks an der Schwelle zur Spatantike nachzuzeichnen. So kann die Lucke zwischen dem gut erforschten kleinasiatischen Baudekor der Zeit um 200 und dem wohl bekannten des spaten 4. Jahrhunderts an theodosianischen Bauten in Konstantinopel zumindest in Teilen geschlossen werden.
