Hailey Owens a beautiful, happy, very much loved little 10 year old girl was taken but not forgotten. This taught us many lessons. 1. We never ever want to witness this happening again in any community. 2. We will have to make changes. We saw the solution to form the Springfield Guardians. A group dedicated to the safety and wellbeing of all children. We knew we had to educate the children for education is power. These books do just that. We also formed guardians to keep a watchful eye over the children as we network across the community. This is a grass roots effort for REAL change.
