Divine portrays Lady Divine, a drag queen who travels around the country with her sideshow 'Cavalcade of Perversions' which showcases all kinds of bizarre fetishes and perverse behaviours. When she tires of her usual routine, she decides to murder all of her paying customers instead of just robbing them. The film follows Divine over the course of a day after she learns of her husband Mr. David (David Lochary)'s affair. She experiences a number of contrasting sexual encounters before finding a lover, named Mink (Mink Stole), who joins Divine on her quest to confront and kill her husband.
