Self-Sovereign Identity ist ein in der Entwicklung befindliches Paradigma fur digitale Interaktionen. Daniel Richter analysiert die Auswirkungen der Anwendung neuartiger Ansatze dieses Paradigmas auf reale Geschaftsszenarien am Beispiel von kommerziellen Ladeprozessen von Elektrofahrzeugen. Unter Verwendung der Methode Service Design for Business Process Reengineering wird ein Konzept fur eine E-Roaming-Dienstleistung erstellt. Dieses beruht auf den fur Self-Sovereign Identity zentralen Standards Verifiable Credentials und Decentralized Identifiers. Anhand dieses Konzepts wird gezeigt, dass Registrierungs- und Authentifizierungsprozesse durch die Anwendung von Self-Sovereign-Identity-Ansatzen verandert werden. Dabei hangt eine verbesserte Kundenerfahrung massgeblich vom Mass der Integration von Wallet-Software in die jeweiligen Dienstleistungsprozesse ab. Ferner ergeben sich Veranderungen in der Aufgabenverteilung der an der Dienstleistung beteiligten Akteure. Anhand der Analyse eines realen Geschaftsszenarios werden offene Punkte in der Entwicklung von Self-Sovereign Identity hervorgehoben. Dazu gehoert insbesondere die Standardisierung von Datenschemata, welche fur die Interoperabilitat der neuartigen Ansatze unerlasslich ist.
