This text identifies and discusses different technology innovation
initiatives (TIIs) such as entrepreneurial capability, technology
infrastructure capability, organizational culture and climate, and
government initiatives. It further evaluates the relationship
between various technology innovation initiatives and manufacturing
performances using multi-criteria decision-making techniques such
as fuzzy set theory (FST), structural equation modeling (SEM), and
analytic hierarchy process (AHP). It will serve as an ideal
reference text for graduate students and academic researchers in
the field of industrial engineering, manufacturing engineering,
mechanical engineering, automotive engineering. This book: *
Discusses technology innovation initiatives such as entrepreneurial
capability, technology infrastructure capability, and
organizational culture. * Highlights technology innovation-strategy
model in assisting manufacturing industries for enhancing their
performance in today's competitive environment. * Examines the
effect of technology innovation initiatives on the performance of
manufacturing industries. * Covers multi-criteria decision-making
techniques such as fuzzy set theory, structural equation modeling,
and analytic hierarchy process. * Explores the validation of
fuzzy-based technology innovation model through structural equation
modeling.
Drag and Drop is a series of 12 books, mainly aimed at beginners
and students. It is based on the WYSIWYG (What You See is What You
Get) method, so the reader can easily correlate what is written in
the book with what is displayed on the computer screen. The
programs can be learnt by the simple process of dragging, dropping
and clicking on the command with the mouse. Each book in the series
focuses on a particular software and explains it in clear and
concise manner.

Sport psychologists researchers and practitioners, coaches, sports
commentators, sports fans, and athletes acknowledge the importance
of mental toughness and flow state in sporting performance. The
mental toughness and flow state are utmost pre-requisite of
individual and team athletes. The recent sport psychology
literature supports the notion that mental toughness and flow state
is not a unitary concept and that it has a number of underlying
components. Flow is generally viewed as a peak performance state,
and there is some support for this assumption. Therefore, a
multi-method approach including qualitative techniques would
provide more specific information about, and prevent
misinterpretation of, flow experiences in competition settings. It
is important to understand what flow is and how people experience
flow. But with the phenomenal and ever increasing popularity of
psychological variables in the past few years, there is a lack of
study on this particular discipline, for this purpose that the
present study of mental toughness and flow state is proposed and
undertaken using the sample from university level male athletes of
open and closed skills.
From sports participation to sport specific conditions, this state
of the art text contributes comprehensively in the domain of
physical education and sports sciences contextualizing the
knowledge and theory that forms the underpinning of our knowledge
behaviour in relation to neuromuscular components of fitness and
physiological variable among basketball players of different level
of achievement. Sport performance has taken a great leap over the
last 20 years. Technology has enhanced our level of performance
greatly through improved equipment and nutritional products. Back
in the 1980's it was good enough to be fitter than your opponent,
that would secure the win; it was good enough to have more
technical skills, it would ensure the upper hand; even having
tactical skills would allow for an advantage. Today however,
everybody is as fit, as technically and tactically advanced as
their opponent. The playing fields have been leveled once again.
This book may contribute towards promotion of athletic performance
by means of helping physical education teachers and coaches to
develop sound training program besides devising remedial training
program.
