Now she's unconscious in a hospital bed, at the mercy of the mad friends and crazy relatives who have come to visit. Her beleaguered ex-husband, her newly independent daughter, her West Indian nurse, her bohemian sister, her best friend, her enthusiastic housekeeper, and others all share a piece of their mind with the woman--the bad mother, the cherished sister, the selfish wife, the matchless lover, the egotist, the martyr--they think they know. And Silvia can't talk back. As she lies there, captive to the beloveds, the babblers, and the stark-raving bonkers who visit her bedside, the dark and terrible secret she has been hiding for years begins to emerge. Many students complete their secondary schooling unsure of the career path they wish to pursue. Still very few complete post-secondary education knowing their chosen career path. Information to guide students on choosing their career paths is not readily available locally. The few career guidance showcases put on by the school system falls short of providing meaningful information for students. The importance of knowing at an early stage the pathway to a chosen career is invaluable as it saves time, worry, anxiety and financial resources. This is where Dawn French and her Careers series come in. Whether you are a parent, a student or someone looking to a new career, this series provides invaluable information on the common career pathways in Saint Lucia. The information presented is simple to understand and straight to the point. The series provides information on academic qualifications/skills requirements, educational institutions, scholarship/financial aid opportunities, an interview primer and potential employment opportunities. I encourage everyone interested in pursuing a career to get their hands on a copy of their chosen Career book. This little investment will pay off huge dividends in the long term as it will guide you in pursuing your chosen career.

This is Dawn French's fabulous new non-fiction book for 2017, and it's totally interactive: take a lovely ramble through the year together with Dawn. Think of it as Dawn's diary, personalized by you . . . perfection. I can't count the amount of diaries I have crammed full with entries in January, that then fizzle out as the other months pile in. One of my teenage diaries has fulsome fizzing reports of every single conversation, thought and feeling about every friend, every crush, every meal, every argument until mid-March, when the entry on the 18th simply reads, 'Washed hair.' Thank god, this isn't that. This book is a way for us to tell the story of a year together. Feel free to write your appointments in it, lists, thoughts and reminders of, say, who to kill, and when, and in what order. But I've also written about age and life as I see it, through the seasons and the months, and I've added some places for you to join me in some fun and some thinking. By the end of the year, I am hoping you will have a fatter, scruffier book that is written by me but totally personalized by you. Come on in. The paper is lovely . . . AND . . . importantly, Me. You: A Diary comes with a practical elastic strap to keep all of your papers safe, with a pocket in the back for storing those special momentoes.

Joy Aston – a midwife with an unhealthy obsession with a toy doll and her husband George. Robert the Panto Dwarf. Hattie, a make up artist who once did Bonnie Tyler’s eyeliner, Jeremy the over zealous Librarian and many, many more. The collection contains all the episodes from both season 1 and 2 plus the 2010 Halloween special.
