*WITH A FOREWORD FROM REESE WITHERSPOON* A collection of deeply
personal conversations from award-winning actress and activist
Laura Dern and the woman she admires most, her mother-legendary
actress Diane Ladd. What happens when we are brave enough to speak
our truths to the ones we love the most? Laura Dern and Diane Ladd
always had a close relationship, but the stakes were raised when
Diane developed a sudden life-threatening illness. Diane's doctor
prescribed long walks to build back her lung capacity. The exertion
was challenging, and Laura soon learned the best way to distract
her mom was to get her talking and telling stories. Their
conversations along the way began to break down the traditional
barriers between mothers and daughters. They discussed the most
personal topics: love, sex, marriage, divorce, art, ambition, and
legacy. In Honey, Baby, Mine, Laura and Diane share these
conversations, as well as reflections and anecdotes, taking readers
on an intimate tour of their lives. Complementing these candid
exchanges, they have included photos, family recipes, and other
mementos. The result is a celebration of the power of leaving
nothing unsaid that will make you want to call the people you love
the most and start talking.

Collection of four comedies following the Griswold family's
vacations. In 'National Lampoon's Vacation' (1983), the West Coast
Wally World theme park is the Griswold's holiday destination, and
they intend to drive there cross-country all the way from their
Chicago home. Father Clark (Chevy Chase) has planned the trip down
to its last detail, but the trouble begins as soon as they hit the
road. In 'National Lampoon's European Vacation' (1985), the family
win a holiday to Europe. Contrary to their expectations, however,
it is not a luxurious, all-expenses-paid kind of trip, but rather a
cut-price, economy deal which takes them to some of the Old World's
seedier locations. Of course, it's not long before they are caught
up in all manner of misadventures. In 'National Lampoon's Christmas
Vacation' (1989), the Griswolds decide to spend the Christmas
season at home. Needless to say, it is not as quiet as they had
planned. Finally, in 'Vegas Vacation' (1997), the clan head for the
gleaming lights of Las Vegas. Unfortunately, Clark is soon
transformed into a compulsive gambler, daughter Audrey (Marisol
Nichols) becomes an exotic dancer and son Rusty (Ethan Embry)
begins posing as a suave high roller.
In the third instalment of the Vacation series the Griswold family
decide to spend the Christmas season at home. Needless to say it is
not as quiet as they had planned. Unexpected relatives and a
catalogue of disasters create enough pandemonium to keep them busy.

Three films from legendary American director David Lynch. In 'The
Elephant Man' (1980), John Merrick (John Hurt) is a brutalised man,
treated as a freak since childhood because of his appalling
physical deformities, until he is discovered by London doctor
Frederick Treves (Anthony Hopkins), who treats him with the
kindness and intelligence he deserves. Unfortunately, by awakening
his true character the problems continue, for he can never lead a
'normal' life. In 'Mulholland Drive' (2001), having narrowly
survived a murder attempt and a car crash, a shocked and wounded
woman (Laura Elena Harring) takes refuge in a nearby apartment.
When she is discovered the next morning by the apartment's official
resident, aspiring actress Betty Elms (Naomi Watts), she confesses
that she neither knows who she is nor what happened to her. The two
women then begin to investigate, and it gradually becomes clear
that they have known each other in the past. Meanwhile, a young
film director (Justin Theroux) finds that the mob are taking an
unusual interest in the casting of his latest film. Finally, in
'Inland Empire' (2006), Laura Dern plays Nikki Grace, an ingenue
actress whose latest role in a Tennessee Williams-esque fright of a
film tests her to her limits. A parallel storyline shows an earlier
attempt to make this film in Poland which ended in tragedy when the
two lead players were offed.

An FBI agent engages in a battle of minds with a woman she suspects
of multiple murders in this thriller from director Bob Rafelson.
Investigator Alexandra Barnes (Debra Winger) becomes obsessed with
proving glamorous socialite Catharine Petersen (Theresa Russell) is
a murderess responsible for the deaths of several millionaires who
died suspiciously soon after marrying. Believing her to have
assumed a new identity each time, Agent Barnes sets out to prove
her suspicions are true, but soon finds that she too is falling
under the Black Widow's spell.
The entire Seventies miniseries adaptation of Anne Sewell's classic
novel is brought together here on two tapes. Black Beauty is a
fine, handsome horse who goes through many trials and tribulations
at the hand of cruel or neglectful masters. Although mistreated,
Beauty is always loyal and faithful, and eventually finds his
reward when he is taken in by kindly owners who are appreciative of
his noble spirit.
