The day could not get any more difficult for Cressida dash. She is forced to defend a harden criminal which she believes is guilty, and she is deeply disturbed when her father displays a dark side of himself that she had never seen before. Her love life is not any better. After being stood up by a blind date, she has had enough and Cressida finds solace at the bottom of a bottle of rum. Before she can comprehend what is happening to her, she falls off of her barstool into the awaiting arms of Maxwell Martinez. Maxwell has his hands full dealing with the family business, as well as his family's life long spiritual mission to defend humanity against Satan and his legion of insidious demons.
