1680. Mr. Stillingfleet desired to vindicate the honor, as well as
the truth, of religion and penned this address. It was written out
of a just resentment of the affronts and indignities which have
been cast on religion, but such, who account it a matter of
judgment to disbelieve the Scriptures, and a piece of wit to
dispute themselves out of the possibility of being happy in another
world. Due to the age of the original we reproduced, some pages may
be spotty or faded. Written in Old English.
