Transactions from the BAA conference in 1993 which was held in Utrecht to celebrate the societies 150th anniversary. These papers present the latest research on the cities monuments from the arrival of Willibrord and Boniface and the establishment of the Bishopric. Twenty-seven papers, all in English cover the early history of the city, a comparison with England at the time and essays on St. Martin's, Wilibrord's cathedral, and the cross of churches.
