Not All Memories Are Bitter Drowning In Memories is written in two
parts: Bitter Tasting Memories, part one; After Midnight, part two,
dedicated to my brother, plus a bonus short story, One In A
Million: A True Story of Friendship. Parts one and two continue the
memories and the many mistakes I made along the way. This up and
down ride includes fun times, not-so-fun times and sad times that
came to mind during and after writing Bitter Memories. Many secrets
Uncle Henry kept hidden over the years are revealed. While trying
to mend fences with Aunt Olivia I learned you never can go home
again, at least I never could. John, who I didn't know growing up,
was an amazing big brother. With great pride I share some of our
times together while getting to know each other. One In A Million
is a true story of friendship and love between two friends helping
each other deal with spirals of emotions, good and bad. After an
attempted suicide I met David, another patient on the psych ward
suffering from deep depression. However, holding a heartbreaking
secret, David had a good reason to be depressed. Becoming instant
friends, David shared his secret with me and ultimately changed the
direction my life was heading. Showing me life through his eyes,
this young man saw beauty in everything around him. David loved
life. He only wanted to be there for his friends and to help
others. But, no one could help David. No one could change what was
to come for my dear friend. Cover art/design: Gary McCluskey

HAUNTING MEMORIES...SECRETS...LIES A SERIAL KILLER STALKING... In
the last of the Bitter Memories series, a man believing he has
amnesia walks the streets in Haskell, Texas trying to remember who
he is; where he came from. In reality, Stan Clark has blackouts,
leaving him with no memories during this timeframe. Numerous men
and women are disappearing from small area towns. Henry Frye,
Munday's police chief, is at his wits end after one of his own
officers turns up missing and a "secret" town meeting is called. He
doesn't know a serial killer will soon be stalking his own
backyard. Jasmine Goldberg, Henry's dispatcher, is determined to
find out all she can about the missing people. In her search she
uncovers an old Army report showing a photo of a man with
frightening, sadistic eyes. Other than the eyes, the photo
resembles a Stan Clark who'd been reported missing for nearly two
years. A car fitting Clark's vehicle is spotted on the highway, but
seeing the patrol car, the driver makes a run for it. Officers from
area towns join the chase, pursuing the vehicle to a house hidden
from the highway. Once inside, the officers stumble upon a
delusional maniac hiding in the basement, and a gruesome sight
upstairs. Before years of lies from the past can destroy him, Henry
opens his heart and soul to the two women he loves deeply-Lori, his
mistress, and Sarah, his dead sister's daughter he adopted-praying
Sarah can forgive him when she learns the truth.
A TOWN TERRORIZED...THE FAMILY SECRETS...YEARS OF LIES UNFOLDING...
Trophy Murders, containing parts based on a true story, continues
Sarah's life after she goes to live with her uncle, the cop, and
his heavy-handed wife. Mixing in an action-packed crime story about
a sadistic gang of killers, Sarah struggles with nightmares from
the past while her uncle struggles to keep his own secrets hidden.
Munday, Texas: Small town. Peaceful. Quiet. The perfect place to
raise a family-or is it? Henry Frye, the new police chief, is
asking himself this question after a gang moves into the big house
on the hill and a murdering spree begins. How many must die before
he catches the ones responsible for turning his town into a place
of terror? When Jake Miller, Henry's ex-captain and friend shows
up, unannounced, Henry knows something is terribly wrong. He's been
waiting all day for an overdue call from Mona, his mistress; the
love of his life. Has something happened to her? What does Jake
know? Things heat up after a fiery car crash leaves one gang member
hanging on to life. Can Henry find out all he needs to know before
the man dies? Henry and Officer Holloway enter the gang's house and
find more bodies. Was it murder or mass suicide? A "shrine" in the
front room unnerves Henry, and a gruesome sight found in the
kitchen threatens to push Henry and his officer over the edge.

Multiple personalities take over Sarah's mind...only so they can
protect her. Abducted by her father when she was three years old,
Sarah found herself in a world of criminal neglect and unfathomable
oppression as her father, stepmother and many others perpetrated
more and more horrible acts of verbal, mental and sexual abuse on
the innocent girl. Sarah, so continually terrified, began to form
separate personalities so that she herself did not have to face the
hideous reality of her day to day life. In nightmares, the other
personalities would present to her the horrific abuse she was being
subjected to, blocking out time for Sarah, bearing the horror of
the experiences themselves so their dear Sarah would not have to.
Although the names in this unforgettable story have been changed
from those in real life, the horrors that occurred are factual.
This tale of the author's early life is a true and unnervingly
gripping account of the extremes of neglect and mistreatment a
child can undergo-and still survive. Told from the heart, "Bitter
Memories" is dedicated to all survivors of abuse; written in the
hope that exposing these horrors will help prevent them from
happening to others, and that more survivors will find a path
toward healing. Contains adult language and graphic content.
Who REALLY killed the Andersons? Who's behind the cover up? That is
the question A 9-1-1 call to the San Diego Police Department on
August 4, 2013 reporting a two-story fire in Boulevard, California
is only the beginning of many harrowing events to follow. After a
woman's body and the body of a dog is found inside a detached
garage, murdered, a bloody crowbar next to the woman's body, the
dog shot in the head, the homeowner and two kids are reported
missing. Assuming homeowner James Lee DiMaggio killed the
children's mother, Christina Anderson-the woman's body discovered
in the garage-setting his home on fire, he then kidnapped
Anderson's two children, Hannah age 16 and Ethan age 8. The
following day the remains of a child, burned beyond recognition is
found inside DiMaggio's burned-to-the-ground home. And even this is
only the beginning. After a week-long manhunt, DiMaggio, maybe an
innocent man, based on information from San Diego Sheriff Bill
Gore, is then shot down by the FBI in what appears to be actions of
a firing squad. The public has doubts on the validity of what is
being told. Stories continue to morph, and more doubts arise. More
and more lies brings the question of Hannah and Brett Anderson's
innocence into doubt-at least for the public. But the story doesn't
end here. This story is only beginning...
