Mocha wakes Chica to start their day of fun, the Monkey friends
find a new object and not knowing what it is they think it's a good
idea to bring it to Mocha's uncle, because uncle knows everything.
Today's adventure starts for the little monkeys with a new found
object, surf trunks, smiles and off to the beach. Where Uncle gives
them the chance to do something for themselves, riding waves. It
turns out that Uncle is a surfer too, they all laughed and laughed
and laughed.
To be a polite monkey is to be kind with your words and with what
you do. Like when out skateboarding, or at school, on the
playground playing soccer, out in the water surfing, playing with
your friends or at Meemaw's house or when on the pathway biking and
when having some fun. A polite monkey is a good listener and will
dispense hugs when needed.
MONKEYS HAVE FUN 2 This monkey story is based on actual events that
took place on the west coast of Vancouver Island, in Tofino and
Long Beach. Created with the use of colour, shapes and smiles,
objects lost and found, paper pens, crayons, glue and numbers,
completed with a short story. This is an art- scrapbook picture
book, describing the surroundings that the monkeys had seen and
things they have done. This picture book is intended for a first
time reader and those who are older who like to have fun too. The
monkeys would like to share this story of fun and adventure with
you as they shared the weekend with a van ride to Cathedral Grove,
Tofino Botanical Gardens, mudflats, swings, waves, stars and
laughter with new friends and also some older friends too. This
book is intended to engage children visually and encourage their
imagination - and to be a monkey.
