Rosie (Collins) and Alex (Claflin) have been the best of friends ever since they were young children. They plan to go to university together in Boston but when an unfortunate accident results in an unwanted pregnancy they find themselves headed in separate directions. As the years pass they each have different life experiences and romantic relationships with other people, but Rosie wonders if they were meant to be more than just friends. Do they still have a chance to be together or is it too late?
Comedy drama starring Sheridan Smith, Kate Nash and Oona Chaplin. Socially awkward and unlucky in love, Sam (Smith)'s only relief from her lonely life is her visit to the nearby clubs at the weekend with her friends Chanel (Jaime Winstone), Saskia (Sarah Hoare) and Paige (Riann Steele). One night, Sam bumps into her old college friend Michelle (Nash) who is home from her successful life in Paris with her beautiful and glamorous friend Jess (Chaplin). Feeling intimidated by their presence, Sam starts spinning a web of lies to make herself appear less of a loser, but with one lie leading onto another will she be able to survive the night while retaining some semblance of her own identity?
Acclaimed British drama portraying the 1968 strike at Ford's Dagenham car plant, where female workers walked out in protest against sexual discrimination and unequal pay. Like many local women, Rita O'Grady (Sally Hawkins) works at the Ford assembly plant stitching seat covers. Although it is intricate work, carried out in sweltering conditions, she is paid the same as an unskilled labourer. But as time passes the female workers come to question this inequality, and eventually take their plight all the way to the House of Commons with the support of political firebrand Barbara Castle (Miranda Richardson).
British thriller in which a carefree holiday in Spain for three young women turns into a living nightmare. Things begin to go awry when Kim (Jaime Winstone), Tammi (Nichola Burley) and Lisa (Sian Breckin) meet three young men and, after joining them for a private party on their yacht, one of the men, Josh (Julian Morris), performs a dangerous anal sex manoeuvre known as a 'donkey punch' on one of the women, accidentally breaking her neck in the process. To avoid getting in trouble with the police, the other five decide to throw the body overboard. Pretty soon, however, guilt and fear get the better of the group, leading to a vicious fight for survival.
