Westworld takes place in the futuristic and technologically advanced Western theme park 'Westworld' where androids known as hosts cater to their guests' every desire.

Its creator Dr. Robert Ford has designed an expansive experience where wealthy customers pay to immerse themselves in the Wild West, with his artificially intelligent beings on hand to indulge their fantasies. One such customer enters the park in search of a maze and like so many of his fellow clients attacks two of the robots, Teddy and Dolores, shortly after his arrival.

Dolores' subsequent strange behaviour leads Dr. Ford to investigate her programming, which appears normal, but it seems she is not the only host displaying changes in their behaviour...

In 'X-Men' (2000), mutants Professor Charles Xavier (Patrick Stewart) and Magneto (Ian McKellen) are former friends, but look set to become mortal enemies when fascist US senator Robert Frank Kelly calls for the registration of all humans with abnormal powers. While telepath Xavier, who runs an altruistic academy for superhuman 'X-Men', wishes to enlighten non-mutants and break down the prejudices which divide them, Magneto believes that the only solution is for the mutants to take over. Wolverine (Hugh Jackman) - an aggressive loner with an admantium skeleton and the ability to heal his body of any wound - and teenager Rogue (Anna Paquin), who can absorb the life force of others simply by touching them, are selected by Xavier to join his academy, but it isn't long before Magneto's followers are attempting to capture them so that they can assist in his plan for world domination.

In the sequel, 'X-Men 2' (2003), Xavier, Wolverine and the X-Men find themselves in the firing line after a failed assassination attempt on the president points the finger at the school. It was in fact the mysterious teleporter Nightwalker (Alan Cumming) who ordered it, and, in an attempt to clear their names, the X-Men are led into a trap set by the evil William Stryker (Brian Cox), a mysterious scientist apparently working for the government. As it soon becomes evident that Stryker's agenda is to destroy all mutants, the X-Men need to call in the help of many of their old friends and foes, including Magneto, if they are to stop him.

In the third film, 'X-Men: The Last Stand' (2006), the mutants are given the option of giving up their powers and becoming human after a private laboratory supported by the government finds a way to use the DNA of a powerful boy to correct the mutants. However, Magneto opposes and decides to join a force to fight against the government and kill the mutant boy. Meanwhile, Jean Grey (Famke Janssen) resurrects, uncontrolled by Xavier, and with the personality of the powerful Dark Phoenix. She destroys Cyclops (James Marsden) and Xavier and allies herself to the evil forces of Magneto, making them almost invincible.

The fourth film in the franchise, 'X-Men: Origins - Wolverine' (2009) is a prequel to the other three films. Hugh Jackman reprises his role as Wolverine, who, some 20 years before the action of the original movie, is seeking revenge on his half-brother Victor Creed (Liev Schreiber) for the death of his girlfriend, and eventually signs up to the ominous Weapon X programme.

Finally, 'X-Men: First Class' (2011) charts the beginning of the saga, following Professor X (James McAvoy) and Magneto (Michael Fassbender) through their formative years in the 1960s as they come to terms with their newfound superpowers. Initially close friends who work together to fight against evil, the two men are driven apart by a conflict of opinion that ultimately leads to the eternal war between Magneto's Brotherhood and Professor X's X-Men.

Sean Connery returns as Secret Service agent James Bond in the second of the series, once again saving the world from the terrorist threats of the SPECTRE organisation. Triple bill of horror movies. 'Hiding' (2012) stars Ana Villafañe as a young woman attempting to begin a new life following the brutal murder of her parents. Taken into the care of a witness protection programme, a new identity is established for Jo (Villafañe) in Montana and she leaves her home in New York and her past life behind. Unfortunately, when a man known as Mr Ostrog (Dean Armstrong) appears and begins to take an interest in her, Jo could be forgiven for thinking that the protection programme has failed to keep her identity safe from the man she is due to testify against. In 'The Victim' (2011) Annie (Jennifer Blanc)'s camping trip with her friend, Mary (Danielle Harris), goes disastrously wrong when Mary is savagely attacked and Annie witnesses her murder. As she flees through the woods from pursuers Harrison (Ryan Honey) and Cooger (Denny Kirkwood), Annie comes across a small cabin inhabited by the loner Kyle (Michael Biehn), but will he help her or hinder her? 'Beneath the Dark' (2010) is a psychological thriller from first-time director Chad Feehan. Driving through the Mojave Desert on their way to the wedding of an old college friend, Paul and Adrienne (Josh Stewart and Jamie-Lynn Sigler) stop for the night at Roy's Motel. Confronted by a surreal atmosphere and their equally strange hosts, Frank and Sandy (Chris Browning and Angela Featherstone), Paul begins to feel uneasy about his new surroundings and wonders what lies in store for them.

Eran Creevy writes and directs this British gangster thriller set in London's docklands. Ex-con Jacob Sternwood (Mark Strong) is forced to return to London from his hideout in Iceland when his son gets caught up in a heist gone wrong. His reappearance gives detective Max Lewinsky (James McAvoy) the chance he has long been waiting for to take down his old nemesis. But as their cat-and-mouse game unfolds, the two men end up becoming unlikely allies and working together to expose a deeper and more sinister conspiracy.

Secret Service agent James Bond (Sean Connery) is sent to Jamaica to investigate the murder of one of his colleagues. It transpires that the island is being used as a base for the terrorist organisation SPECTRE, who, under the guidance of the despotic Dr No (Joseph Wiseman), have developed technology to divert rockets launched from Cape Canaveral. The first big-screen outing for 007 features original Bond Girl Ursula Andress emerging from the ocean in memorably revealing swimwear.

Michel Gondry directs this mega-budget superhero action film starring Seth Rogen and Cameron Diaz, based on the 1960s television series starring Bruce Lee. Britt Reid (Rogen), son and heir to the biggest newspaper fortune in Los Angeles, is a spoiled playboy who has hitherto led a charmed but directionless existence. But after the death of his father (Tom Wilkinson), Britt joins forces with company employee and martial arts expert Kato (Jay Chou) to fight crime across the city as masked superhero The Green Hornet. Armed with their super-powered automobile The Black Beauty, the pair set out to take down the dastardly Chudnofsky (Christoph Waltz), a kingpin of the criminal underworld who plans to unite the various gangs of the city in an attempt to eliminate The Green Hornet.

Doris Walker (Maureen O'Hara), an executive at Macy's department store, believes in taking a common-sense approach to life and is consequently raising her daughter Susan (Natalie Wood) not to believe in Santa Claus. This year however, the convictions of both mother and child are challenged when the kindly old man (Edmund Gwenn) hired as the store Santa insists that he is in fact the real thing. No one believes him, some even think he's insane, but he is willing to go to court to prove his case. Oscars were won by Edmund Gwenn (Best Supporting Actor) and George Seaton (Best Screenplay) and the film was remade in 1994 with Richard Attenborough in the lead.

In 'Hop, Skip and a Week', Berger and Carrie drift even further apart and he finally dumps her - by Post-it note. In 'The Post-it Always Sticks Twice', Carrie vows to her friends that she won't badmouth Berger - but when she runs into some friends of his the temptation proves irresistible. In 'The Catch', Charlotte (Kristin Davis) gets married to Harry (Evan Handler). 'A Woman's Right to Shoes' finds Carrie's new Manolos being stolen at her friend's baby shower. In 'Boy, Interrupted', Carrie runs into an old high school boyfriend, who is in town to attend a local psychiatric facility. 'The Domino Effect' sees Big (Chris Noth) back in town for an operation. In a feverish delirium he opens up to Carrie - but on recovery becomes his usual cool and closed-off self. In 'One', Carrie meets Aleksandr Petrovsky (Mikhail Baryshnikov) at a hot new art exhibition. In 'Let There Be Light', Carrie stays over at Aleksandr's apartment and the two become an official item. In 'Catch-38', Aleksandr tells Carrie that he has a daughter in Paris, and that he doesn't want any more children - leaving Carrie to wonder if, at 38, she's willing to give up a man for a baby she may or may not want to have. 'Out of the Frying Pan' sees Carrie walking out on Aleksandr when, during a conversation about Samantha's (Kim Cattrell) breast cancer, he mentions a friend of his who died of the illness. In 'The Cold War', Carrie arranges for her friends to meet Aleksandr, but he doesn't show up, and it turns out he's anxious about his forthcoming exhibition in Paris. In 'Splat', Carrie accepts Aleksandr's offer to accompany him to Paris. In 'An American Girl in Paris (Part Une)', Carrie, left to her own devices on the streets of Paris while Aleksandr prepares for his exhibition, is missing her friends and her life back home. In the final episode, 'An American Girl in Paris (Part Deux)', Carrie returns to New York and her friends with Big after he tracks her down in Paris and they realise they are meant to be together.

Three years on from the previous blockbuster, Marvel comic book character Spider-Man returns in his latest adventure. Peter Parker (Tobey Maguire) and his girl Mary-Jane (Kirsten Dunst) are on the cusp of contentment - but not for long. His ex-friend Harry (James Franco), son of the Green Goblin of the first film, becomes the New Goblin in his desire for revenge against Spider-Man. Fugitive Flint Marko (Thomas Haden Church), killer of Peter's Uncle Ben, has been transformed into the shape-shifting Sandman, possibly Spider-Man's toughest foe so far. To complicate matters further, a parasitic alien symbiote has attached itself to Peter's suit, giving him even greater powers but also bringing out the evil side of his personality. He has to struggle not only against two major adversaries but also against himself.

Caradog W. James directs this British sci-fi drama starring Toby Stephens and Caity Lotz. Top scientist Vincent (Stephens) works for the Ministry of Defence on a project aimed at producing a weapon equipped with advanced artificial intelligence. Vincent quickly enlists the help of Ava (Lotz), an expert on A.I., and the combination of their skills proves fruitful indeed. Such is the chemistry between Vincent and Ava that they begin a romantic relationship, which leads Vincent to confide to his partner that the conscious machine they've constructed together shares certain similarities with his ill daughter. This seems certain to cause problems when MOD bigwig Thomson (Denis Lawson) uses his authority to move the project in a different direction and Vincent loses control of his creation...
