The Director-General of UNESCO, Koichiro Matsuura, writes in the
Foreword to this book: ""The present study by James Page provides a
timely exposition of what might be argued to be a philosophy of
peace education. It provides an overview of different philosophical
approaches, and from diverse culture perspectives, of peace
education throughout the world. As such it offers an important
addition to the emerging literature on peace education and the
culture of peace, as well as an important commentary on the peace
mission of UNESCO."" CONTENTS: Acknowledgments. Preface. Foreword.

He had retired as a professional assassin, but a new breed of suit
at his former employer wants him for one more assignment and they
will do anything to get him to take the job, the target, Eduardo Da
Silva, leader of a movement fighting for the independence of
northern Angola. Mike Fraser, trying to settle into his new
profession of a photojournalist, soon finds himself the target of
two contracts, one issued by an arms dealer who fears he will take
the job and derail a major arms deal and one by the CIA when he
turns them down. Smooth talking, ruthless Hank Jacobsen, Deputy
Director National Clandestine Services, believes that the Firm has
gone soft and plans to rectify that when he gets the directors
corner office. When Mike's chalet on his game farm is blown up he
realises that he has no option but to go to the source, but will
the vengeance he seeks put an end to the mayhem. From the far
reaches of north-west Limpopo in South Africa, the fast paced
action moves to northern Angola, Amsterdam, a showdown in
Washington and a final confrontation back in north-west Limpopo.
