Ira Sachs writes and directs this gay-themed domestic drama starring John Lithgow and Alfred Molina. Forced to separate after George (Molina) loses his job teaching music at a nearby Catholic school, the recently married gay couple Ben (Lithgow) and George have trouble adapting to life without the other being nearby at all times. Ben, who moves in with his nephew Elliott (Darren Burrows), his wife Kate (Marisa Tomei) and their teenage son Joey (Charlie Tahan), soon begins to suspect he is overstaying his welcome. Meanwhile, George crashes on the couch of a much-younger gay couple who frequently have lots of visitors.
Aaron Katz writes and directs this indie mystery drama. After dropping out of college, Doug (Cris Lankenau) returns to his hometown of Portland, Oregon and moves in with his sister, Gail (Trieste Kelly Dunn). He gets a job in an ice factory where he makes friends with Carlos (Raul Castillo). When his ex-girlfriend Rachel (Robyn Rikoon) turns up and almost immediately disappears, Doug, Gail and Carlos hark back to the techniques employed by their beloved old detective novels as they embark on an investigation to discover Rachel's whereabouts.
Horror thriller written and directed by Robert Eggers. The story follows a puritan family living on a farm in New England in 1630. When their baby son suddenly goes missing, the superstitious parents William (Ralph Ineson) and Katherine (Kate Dickie) begin to wrongly suspect their daughter Thomasin (Anya Taylor-Joy) is responsible and capable of witchcraft. When further sinister things start to happen, such as their crops failing, suspicion and fear begins to tear the family apart driving them to commit heinous acts. All the while, they become more vulnerable to the real culprit that lurks in the woods behind their home.
