Nazi hunter Ezra Lieberman (Laurence Olivier) is aghast when he stumbles upon a plot by war criminal Josef Mengele (Gregory Peck) to produce clones of Adolf Hitler using cells taken from the late dictator's body. It is Mengele's intention to reproduce Hitler not only genetically but in terms of his upbringing, as the boys created from the cells are to grow up in environments as close as possible to the Fuhrer's.

Classic creature comedy horror directed by Joe Dante and produced by Steven Spielberg. When Billy Peltzer (Zach Gilligan) is given the cute and friendly little Mogwai, Gizmo (voiced by Howie Mandel), for Christmas, he is told never to expose it to bright light, get it wet or ever feed it after midnight. But one night when a glass of water is accidentally spilled over little Gizmo, Billy soon finds out why he was told to follow this advice as Gizmo begins to convulse, producing five new Mogwai. As Billy and his science teacher, Mr. Hanson (Glynn Turman), then seek to find out more about the creatures, a series of events lead to the escape of a number of them; and due to their heightened intelligence they know exactly how to replicate themselves. Soon after, the town is overrun by a new breed of Mogwai - the 'Gremlins' - who are menacing little reptilian creatures, and far from friendly.

Both Gremlins adventures are collected on this double bill. In the first film an eccentric inventor brings an unusual Christmas gift home for his son Billy (Zach Galligan): a cute, real life teddy bear called Mogwai, obtained from a Chinese trinket store. Upon purchase, the shopowner offers two strict warnings: don't let Mogwai come into contact with water; and don't feed him after midnight. Inevitably, both these stipulations are ignored, and the cuddly creature begins to spawn some distinctly unruly offspring. In the sequel, Zach Galligan, Phoebe Cates and Gizmo return (the loveable Mogwai who spawns nasty Gremlins when wet), but this time Gizmo is in danger of dissection by a fiendish doctor (Christopher Lee). On his escape, he gets a dousing and before long the uncontrollable Gremlins (this time in mutated form) are back and wreaking havoc.

Joe Dante directs this late 1980s comedy horror starring Tom Hanks and Bruce Dern. Life is pleasant, if dull, in the suburb of Hinckley Hills until the weird Klopeks move in next door to Ray Peterson (Hanks). When Ray decides to spend his week's vacation relaxing at home, he soon allows himself to be persuaded by his other neighbours that the Klopeks are in fact marauding killers, and joins in the suburbanites' investigation. The film also stars Carrie Fisher and Corey Feldman.

Sometime in the future, the inhabitants of a city are forced to undergo 'renewal' when they reach the age of 30. A member of the security forces (Michael York) becomes intrigued about the fate of a young woman (Jenny Agutter) and decides to aid her bid to escape from the city...

Startled by her own amazing Superpowers, Supergirl traces the lost Omegahedron only to discover that it has fallen into the hands of the rapacious Selena (Faye Dunaway) who unleashes untold horrors to thwart her young adversary.

When US pilot Colonel Joseph Ryan (Frank Sinatra) is shot down and placed in a German POW camp, he is more concerned with his own survival than escape. The top-ranking officer in the camp, he is initially reviled by his fellow British and American prisoners, who nickname him 'Von Ryan'. However, Ryan eventually comes to lead them in a daring escape attempt, taking over from the commanding British officer (Trevor Howard) and the escapees face many hazards as they commandeer a train to make their way across Italy, closely followed by the Nazis.

In the 1940s a pilot (Mel Gibson), overcome with grief when his girlfriend goes into a coma, agrees to be cryogenically frozen in an experiment. He is forgotten about however, and is only woken by chance in 1992, where he has to struggle to adjust to a radically different world, while staying one step ahead of the army in his search for his former lover.

As for Damien, he is making his mark at military school, and is dismayed to discover his true demonic identity - but not for long. The third film, 'Omen 3 - The Final Conflict' (1981), finds Damien (Sam Neill) all grown up and heading a multinational company. In 'Under Siege 2 - Dark Territory' (1995) a passenger train has been hijacked by electronics expert Travis Dane (Eric Bogosian) and turned into an untracable command centre for a weapons satellite. He plans to blow up Washington DC - for one billion dollars - and it falls to Ryback to stop him. In 'Hard to Kill' (1990) Los Angeles police officer Mason Storm (Seagal) wakes from a lengthy coma and swears revenge on the crooked cops, vicious hoodlums and the corrupt senator who murdered his wife and child and put him to sleep for seven years. In 'Nico - Above the Law' (1988) martial arts detective Nico Toscani (Seagal) discovers that a group of drug barons are about to bring chaos to the streets of Chicago. With the help of his partner (Pam Grier) he soon discovers that the drugs cartel is run by Zagon (Henry Silva), a CIA official whom Nico had worked with during the Vietnam War. In 'Executive Decision' (1996) Pentagon defence analyst Dr. David Grant (Kurt Russell) has to rescue 400 hostages from a hijacked 747 aircraft which is stacked full of dangerous chemical weapons and heading straight for Washington DC. Since the terrorists real objective is the destruction of the US capital, Grant realises that attempts at negotiation will be fruitless and consequently resolves to board the 747 himself. But the mission, led by Special Operations expert Austin Travis (Seagal), looks doomed from the start when the experimental aircraft they are using to board the plane goes wildly out of control during the docking procedure.

The Omen
When Kathy Thorn gives birth to a stillborn baby, her husband Robert shields her from the devastating truth and substitutes an orphaned infant for their own - unaware of the child's satanic origins. Morgan Freeman returns to the role of Detective Alex Cross in this follow-up to the 1997 hit 'Kiss the Girls'. Assisted by secret-service agent Jezzie Flannigan (Monica Potter), he works out that the kidnapper's real target was another pupil at the same school, the son of the Russian president. Then, after narrowly averting a second attempt to grab the boy, Cross begins to wonder if there isn't somebody else involved, somebody who is more in control of events than the kidnapper himself.

Nico
Nico Toscani is a martial arts detective who discovers that a group of drug barons are about to bring chaos to the streets of Chicago. With the help of his partner he soon discovers that the drugs cartel is run by Zagon, a CIA official with whom Nico had worked with during the Vietnam war.

Fire Down Below
The hills of Jackson, Kentucky, have been poisoned with dumped toxins for too long. EPA Marshal Jack Taggert, out to avenge the murder of a colleague, is appointed to discover who exactly is destroying the environment, but this proves to be no mean feat. Most of the locals have been bought off or intimidated into silence, so Taggert goes undercover and finds that local tycoon Orin Hanner is far from above suspicion.

Exit Wounds
When 50 kilos of heroin is stolen from the property vaults of a top security prison in Detroit, the evidence points to the officers in charge. But no one will admit anything as the heroin is worth $5m to them. Gangster Latrell Walker is determined to find the thieves as he was due to get some big money out of the deal. But he has to deal with cop Orin Boyd, who is also on the trail of the thieves. The two decide to join forces and try and find those responsible for this conspiracy.

When media baron Rod McCain (Kevin Kline) buys Marwood Zoo in England, he sends over his son Vince (also Kline) and the sexy Willa Weston (Jamie Lee Curtis) to ensure that it turns over a 20% profit. The zoo is being run by McCain employee Rollo Lee (John Cleese), who has instigated a policy that only fierce creatures should be on display. When Vince sets up advertising hoardings and arranges bogus celebrity sponsorship, the zookeepers, led by insect specialist 'Bugsy' Malone (Michael Palin), revolt. John Cleese reassembles the cast of 'A Fish Called Wanda' for this film, described as an 'equal' rather than a sequel.
