As he walked, he repeated half aloud to himself bits of his sermon for the morrow. The theme was " Praise" again. He could not get beyond it. There was a fine view from the top of the hill; but when he reached the top he was so taken up with his own thoughts that for a time he gave no heed to it. He stopped, however, and turned his eyes absently to the north-east and the entrance of the voe. He had chosen for his text the first clause in the first verse of the sixty-fifth Psalm.
