This book describes fault tolerance techniques based on software
and hardware to create hybrid techniques. They are able to reduce
overall performance degradation and increase error detection when
associated with applications implemented in embedded processors.
Coverage begins with an extensive discussion of the current
state-of-the-art in fault tolerance techniques. The authors then
discuss the best trade-off between software-based and
hardware-based techniques and introduce novel hybrid techniques.
Proposed techniques increase existing fault detection rates up to
100%, while maintaining low performance overheads in area and
application execution time."
In this study Jurgen Becker presents a new historically grounded
explanation of the phrases "kingdom of God" and "God's reign" - the
central terms of Jesus' proclamation. He draws on a range of
sources to trace Jesus'special position within early Judaism. At
the same time, he retains his focus on Jesus' ministry, viewed as
the beginning of the history of early Christianity. The
proclamation of the kingdom is thus seen by Becker as the founding
moment of a distinct community of faith.

This book contains extended and revised versions of the best papers
presented at the 17th IFIP WG 10.5/IEEE International Conference on
Very Large Scale Integration, VLSI-SoC 2009, held in Florian polis,
Brazil, in October 2009. The 8 papers included in the book together
with two keynote talks were carefully reviewed and selected from 27
papers presented at the conference. The papers cover a wide variety
of excellence in VLSI technology and advanced research addressing
the current trend toward increasing chip integration and technology
process advancements bringing about stimulating new challenges both
at the physical and system-design levels, as well as in the test of
theses systems.
The purpose of this book is to evaluate strategies for future
system design in multiprocessor system-on-chip (MPSoC)
architectures. Both hardware design and integration of new
development tools will be discussed. Novel trends in MPSoC design,
combined with reconfigurable architectures are a main topic of
concern. The main emphasis is on architectures, design-flow,
tool-development, applications and system design.
Around the world, NASA (National Aeronautics and Space
Administration) is synonymous with air and space flight. This book
covers NASA's aerospaceresearch from the agency's beginnings as
NACA (National Advisory Committee for Aeronautics) in 1915 to the
present-day NASA. Exciting projects and developments are portrayed,
such as the first supersonic flight of the X-1 in 1947, the flights
of the fastest manned aircraft, the rocket-powered X-15, which
attained almost seven times the speed of sound in 1967, the
flight-testing of the lunar module for the moon landings,
tipping-rotor aircraft, testing new wing concepts, and much more.
The emphasis of the book is in the realm of aviation research, but
the boundaries between air and space research are often fluid, so
that the development of the Space Shuttle and its testing have been
included in this book. Besides project portrayals and descriptions
of various research trends, the development sites and important
personnel of NASA are portrayed.
Ju rgen Becker's The Sea in the Radio is a collection of "journal
sentences" divided into three sections called notebooks. In this
great concert of a novel, language has been pared down to a
minimum: fragments, phrases, and short sentences combine and make
up a life both banal and profound. It is a life in which many of
the details remain unstated or, as in miniatures, float just beyond
the edges of the frame. Though at first the narrative may seem to
move in a relatively harmless manner, soon enough we begin to
realize that the story to be told may indeed be more unsettling
than we had suspected. The Sea in the Radio is a novel that bears
witness not only to one's final years but also to one's place
within history in general and Germany's cataclysmic
twentieth-century past in particular.
The book is a novelty. For the first time the fundamentals of the
performance activities of the German Society for Musical Performing
Rights and Mechanical Reproduction Rights (GEMA) will be
comprehensively presented, expertly explained and scientifically
fathomed. In addition to the historical and legal basics, this
especially concerns the presentation and elucidation of GEMA's
"internal rules": The statutes, authorisation agreement and the
plan of distribution. An overview concerning the practice of
licensing will also be provided. Such a presentation has long since
been a sought-after reference factor of practice and science. The
reference work should provide those individuals entitled as well as
users, supervisory authorities and courts - but also scholars -
reliable information concerning the performance activity, and thus
contribute to transparency.
In this volume, the basic principles of the administrative
functions carried out by the Society for Performing and Mechanical
Reproduction Rights (GEMA) are presented comprehensively and
academically explained. This work is primarily focused on
presenting and explaining the GEMAa (TM)s a oeinternal
regulationsa: the statutes, the deed of assignment, and the
distribution plan. Additionally, an overview is presented on the
day to day practice of licensing the rights. The main focus of this
presentation is the commentary section. The commentary presents in
detail and academically considers the statutes as the basis of the
organization, the deed of assignment as the foundation of the
assignment of rights, and the distribution plan. The new edition
brings this work up to date. The copyright law reform (a oeZweite
Korba ) is taken into consideration as well as the latest
judicature and the newest amendments to the GEMA's deed of
assignment and distribution plan.

Fertigkeiten an Laborgeraten.
mehrere Verfahren entwickelt. In all diesen Fallen kann keinem
und in dem im gleichen Verlag erschienenen Lehrbuch "Brauch, W.;
Hierdurch
bedingt, mussen an einigen wenigen Stellen Begriffe erlautert wer
The purpose of this book is to evaluate strategies for future

architectures. Both hardware design and integration of new
