waiting for Jo for a very long time. NOTE: Torchwood contains adult

Katy Manning returns to the much-loved role of Josephine "Jo" Grant
from the much loved 1970s Jon Pertwee Third Doctor era of
television Doctor Who, teaming up with actor Tim Treloar who voices
the Doctor. 4.1 The Rise of the New Humans by Guy Adams. When a man
dies by falling from the top floor of a multi-storey car park, the
Doctor and Jo wonder why it should be of interest to UNIT. Then
they see the protuberances on the man’s back... As he fell, he
tried to grow wings. Looking into the man’s past leads the Doctor
and Jo to a remote private hospital where the staff aren’t as
helpful as they could be, and the Chief Administrator is
unavailable to meet with them. Breaking into some restricted wards,
the Doctor notes the presence of alien and futuristic technology.
The whole thing bears the unmistakable hallmarks of one of his own
people’s interference, one of his old foes. Except not perhaps
the one he might have imagined. The Monk is back. And this time his
meddling may have gone too far. 4.2 The Tyrants of Logic by Marc
Platt. he Doctor and Jo land on Port Anvil –a bleak, abandoned
mining colony on the remote planet Burnt Salt. A huge armoured
crate has recently arrived in the almost derelict Spacehub. No-one
knows who it’s for. No-one knows what it contains. Strange
creatures lurk around the outskirts, and a rag-tag population of
misfits inhabit what is left of the town: a saloon bar owner, a
literal one-man band and a hunter of very unusual prey. If they
want to survive the night, they’re going to have to work
together. Because the Cybermen want the contents of the crate. And
they will stop at nothing to get hold of it. Director Nicholas
Briggs is one of the Big Finish executive producers, and is also
well known for his role on TV's Doctor Who voicing the Daleks and
other monsters. This volume includes the return of two fan
favourites - renegade Time Lord The Meddling Monk (played by
comedian Rufus Hound) and the Cybermen: this is the first time the
Cybermen have confronted the Doctor in a full-cast adventure, and
has been long-awaited ever since the Third Doctor Adventures range
was announced. Cast: Tim Treloar (The Doctor), Katy Manning (Jo
Grant), Rufus Hound (The Monk), Mina Anwar (Dr Kurdi), Joe Sims
(Chief Orderly / Wilde / Jumper), Clare Corbett (Harriet / Woman /
Radio Technician), Silas Hawkins (Francis / Morgue Attendant /
Patient / Orderly), Linda Marlowe (Gusta Pardo), Carolyn Pickles
(Professor Marian Schaeffer), Ronan Summers (Hollisen Grier), Jeff
Rawle (Chad Caramel), Deli Segal(Skippa) and Nicholas Briggs (The
Cybermen).

UNIT quickly becomes a fight for survival. 4.2 Tidal Wave by Guy
Adams. When an experimental tidal power generator needs its
eco-friendly credentials checked, Kate Stewart calls in an expert.
Soon, Jo Jones is bound for 'Project Charybdis' in the South

treacherous plan is set in motion to awake an ancient race. Beneath
the seabed an army is sleeping - an army of Sea Devils! 4.3
Retrieval by Guy Adams. As the Earth's primeval rulers reclaim
their birthright, UNIT must stand against them. And Kate Stewart
and Osgood must venture into a Mediterranean stronghold to retrieve
a means to fight back. But a Silurian warrior is on their trail.
Once she has the humans' scent, Commander Tryska will never give up
the hunt. 4.4 United by Matt Fitton. The Silurians hold Great

all ape resistance. With Kate Stewart trapped, defence of the realm
falls to UNIT's old guard. Jo Jones, Mike Yates and John Benton are
ready to do their duty and stand united. Launching with last year's

Doctor Who! In this thrilling full-cast audio with cinematic sound
design and music, Jemma Redgrave and Ingrid Oliver reprise the
fan-favourite characters of Kate Stewart and Petronella Osgood as
seen on TV in stories such as the globally cinema-screened Doctor
Who - Day of the Doctor. The set's foes - Silurians and Sea Devils
-are some of Doctor Who's most popular monsters. This is the first
time the Sea Devils have appeared in a Big Finish production in
nearly 14 years, something highly anticipated by the TV show's
fans. CAST: Jemma Redgrave (Kate Stewart), Ingrid Oliver (Osgood),
James Joyce (Captain Josh Carter), Ramon Tikaram (Colonel Shindi),
Fernandez (Captain Gonsalves/ Phoebe Breckenridge), Lucy Fleming
(Alice Donelly), Matthew Cottle (Ben Donnelly/ Overseer), David
Jonsson (Corporal James Morley), Dan Starkey (Marshal Skar/
Commander Merx/ Sontaran Escapee), James Wilby (Professor John
Torrance), Beth Goddard (Christine Colley) and Nicholas Briggs (The
Daleks).
Description: The Gospel of the Bleeding Woman imagines a life for
an interesting, unnamed biblical character: the bleeding woman who
touches Jesus in three of the gospel accounts. The first half of
this poetry collection is biblical/historical fiction; the second
half, after the healing touch, moves into the realm of speculative
fantasy (because faith is a strange, strange thing).
Katy Manning, Jon Culshaw and Tim Treloar read a dynamic trio of
stories inspired by strips first published in Doctor Who Annual. In
'Dead on Arrival', Jo Grant finds out what it's like to be a ghost
when she realises that no-one can see her. Even more alarmingly,
the Doctor and the Brigadier appear to be mourning her death!
Something has gone very wrong since her last trip in the TARDIS -
but how can she tell the Doctor about it? In 'The Traitor', the
Fourth Doctor and Sarah help rescue the survivors of a crashed
spaceship, only to discover that they are scientists deliberately
marooned on a distant planet. The people plead with the Doctor and
Sarah for help - but what happens next is far from expected. In
'The Power', the Doctor and Leela are among those invited to the
wedding of Princess Azula on the planet Shem. Yet barbarism still
rules over a divided people, and the time travellers become
embroiled in a bitter tussle for the secret of the mysterious
Power. Adapted by Paul Magrs from strip stories first published in
the Doctor Who Annuals of the 1970s, these stories are brought to
life by three much-loved readers and some stirring sound design.

Katy Manning reads this original adventure featuring the Third
Doctor and Jo Grant, set in the First World War. "Somewhere in this
hospital there is a man, or a woman, who has been possessed by the
raw energy of time." The year is 1914, and the Great War is just
getting started. In a field hospital in Ypres, Belgium, Nurse Annie
Grantham receives two visitors: a distinguished doctor and his
administrative assistant, Miss Grant. They have many questions to
ask of Annie, and of her distressed and wounded charges. The Doctor
is returning to a scenario he encountered long ago: a version of
the First World War where the Archduke Ferdinand wasn't murdered,
leading to changes all along the subsequent timeline. He now
suspects that someone is at large in 1914, intervening in events
with some unknown purpose. What force is causing injured soldiers
to disappear into the night? Does the answer to the mystery lie in
Sarajevo, six months earlier, at the scene of that assassination
attempt? With the help of the TARDIS, the Doctor and his friends
are about to find out. Duration: 1 hour 8 mins. Katy Manning, who
played Jo in the BBC TV series, reads this intriguing new story by
Justin Richards. Text (c) Justin Richards 2018 The right of Justin

setting up his live peepshow, watched by an eager audience of space

TARDIS and withdraws. Without warning, a prehistoric monster rises
from the sea to attack... What is happening? Where are they? Only
the Doctor realises, with horror, that they might be trapped... 3
