"The World, Book Two" is the second fictional narrative installment
of a slightly over-hormoned, teenaged overseas military brat, who
thinks too much, has a bit of a problem with authority and whose
father is stationed at Torrejon Air Force Base in Madrid, Spain
from 1969-1974. It is highly recommended that "The World" series of
novels be read from the beginning because there are many major and
minor characters introduced in each novel, starting with Book One,
who reappear in subsequent novels, but who are not reintroduced.
"The World' series of novels is, in essence, one long story.
One day, Thom Thomas decided to make a donation of clothing to a
local shelter. Before long, word spread and soon all of Thom's
neighbors decided to follow his lead with their own donations of
clothing and food. The only problem, as they all soon discovered,
was that the local shelter had been closed What to do? "The Bridge"
is a holiday tale about the gift of giving, the gift of sharing and
the joy of caring. The illustrations in "The Bridge" are black and
white drawings. The author and illustrator invite children of all
ages to participate in the story by coloring the illustrations.
"The World, Book Three, Part 1" (1 of 2) is the third installment
about a slightly over-hormoned, teenage overseas military brat who
thinks too much, has a bit of a problem with authority and whose
father is stationed at Torrejon Air Base, Madrid, Spain, from
1969-1974. Book Three, Part 1, covers the first half of the
historic Torrejon/Madrid High School football season in which the
school's varsity football team is divided into two, separate,
competing varsity squads in order to balance the Spain Division
Conference.
