Bryan Singer returns to direct this latest instalment of the 'X-Men' franchise based on the Marvel Comics characters. En Sabah Nur (Oscar Isaac), known as Apocalypse, has been worshipped as the first and most powerful mutant to have ever lived. When he is awakened after several thousands of years at rest, Apocalypse sees what the modern world has become and sets about correcting and cleansing humanity to create a better world for mutants to live in, recruiting Magneto (Michael Fassbender) onto his team. Family comedy adventure which sees two orphans deciding to rescue a city's stray dogs. Arriving at a foster home with a 'strictly no pets' policy, 16-year-old Andi (Emma Roberts) and her younger brother Bruce (Jake T. Austin) realise they'll have to find a home for their dog Friday. On a trip downtown, the kids discover an old disused hotel that would be ideal for their needs. When they discover some of the local strays have already made it their home, they decide to take it one step further, turning the hotel into a refuge, and pleasure palace, for every stray mutt they can possibly find. But all the activity soon brings them to the notice of the police and the local dog-catchers, who valiantly, if stupidly, try to close down the operation.
