Die Autorin untersucht das Formenspektrum griechischer visueller Poesie in ihrer sprachlichen und kulturgeschichtlichen Spannbreite: Vom antiken Technopagnion, den Kuben und Trigona, uber die byzantinischen "gewebten Verse" oder die neuzeitlichen figurierten Lobgedichte bis hin zur Vielfalt experimenteller Formen in der Moderne und der Code Poetry unserer Zeit. Die literaturhistorische Darstellung berucksichtigt neben der rein textuellen Seite der entsprechenden Artefakte auch deren medialen und performativen Charakter und setzt sie in Bezug zu den internationalen Stroemungen.
