Holty hat vor seinem fruhen Tod keine eigene Sammlung seiner Lyrik herausgeben konnen. Seine Gedichte werden hier in der von Wilhelm Michael ermittelten Reihenfolge ihrer Entstehung wiedergegeben. Der Text folgt der letzten handschriftlich uberlieferten Fassung. Nur in den Fallen, wo eine solche fehlt, orientiert sich der Text an den zeitgenossischen Drucken.
