Ludwig Pietsch (1824-1911) war ein deutscher Kunstschriftsteller und Feuilletonist. Er bereiste 1877 nach einem Treffen mit einem alten Bekannten die Gegend um Marokko. In den hier veroffentlichten Briefen schildert er seine Eindrucke, die er wahrend seiner Reise sammelte und berichtet uber das Land und die Kultur Marokkos. Vorliegend ist ein Reisebericht, der durch seine Lebendigkeit und Authentizitat auch heute noch aus der Fulle von Reiseliteratur heraussticht.
