The Littlest Turtle by Lysa Mullady is a picture book about the importance of using your voice to speak up for what is fair and right. For years, the little turtles climbed on top of the big turtles to eat the freshest fruit from the top of the bushes. The big turtles ate the fallen berries—sour and rotten. Littlest Turtle follows along with this tradition until she hears the feelings of the big turtles. Littlest Turtle sees how unfair this all is and thinks about the important question: would it be so hard to share? Follow along as Littlest Turtle joins together with the big turtles, speaks up for change, and comes up with a new tradition that works for all turtles, no matter the size!
Red loves being red! Apples, wagons, fire trucks - he thinks all the best things are red! Yellow admires Red's roses, but Red just wants to be left to mind his own business - why can't Yellow mind hers? But when Yellow and Blue go off to make frogs, shamrocks, and caterpillars, Red realizes that he may be missing out. The possibilities are endless when the colors work together! Includes a Note to Parents and Caregivers with more information on encouraging empathy and cooperation.
Blue's feelings are hurt when he's not invited to find worms with Red and Yellow. So Blue impulsively starts a rumor. Before he knows it, his little fib has spiraled out of control, and all the birds are caught up in the big drama. Can Blue make things right before it's too late? Includes a Note to Parents, Caregivers, and Professionals with more information on dealing with gossip and helping children build positive relationships.
