Thriller in which a successful lawyer attempts to civilise the last remaining woman from a wild rural clan. Chris Cleek (Sean Bridgers) is a well-off country lawyer, married and with a young family. One day, in the woods near his home, Chris comes across a feral woman (Pollyanna McIntosh) bathing. With a love for order, the family man decides to bring her home with him and 'civilise' her. The woman is so wild he is at first forced to chain her in the basement. He introduces the woman to his wife, Belle (Angela Bettis), and his children, Peggy (Lauren Ashley Carter) and Brian (Zach Rand), and encourages them to interact with her to help bring out her human side. Will his experiment in 'civilisation' succeed, or will the woman threaten the civilised existence of the family?
Comedy starring Dustin Hoffman and Natalie Portman. Mr. Magorium's Wonder Emporium is the strangest, most fantastic, most wonderful toy store in the world. It's a tantalising toy haven in which everything inside literally comes to life - including the store itself - and where marvels of every imaginable, possible kind, and beyond, never cease... until now. When Mr. Magorium, the store's extraordinary 243 year-old proprietor (Hoffman), announces that he will at long last hand over the reigns of his wonder-expanding Emporium to his unconfident young manager, Molly Mahoney (Portman), the store decides to throw an unusual tantrum. As a skeptical accountant named Henry (Jason Bateman) comes in to audit the Legos and Lincoln Logs, not to mention the Whodathoughts and Whatchamacallits, the once sparkling, colour-saturated Emporium is suddenly embattled by mysterious changes. The playful toys are all still there, but they've turned gray and quiet - and only Mahoney and Henry can revive them if, with the help of a superdexterous 9 year-old (Zach Mills), they can find the source of magic inside themselves.
Three teenagers soon regret having disturbed the reclusive Avery Ludlow (Brian Cox) in this revenge thriller from directors Trygve Allister Diesen and Lucky McKee. Korean war veteran Ludlow runs the local hardware store in a small Northwest town. Since the death of his wife, his only companion has been his old dog named Red, who he takes with him on his fishing trips. One afternoon while at his favourite spot, three teenagers emerge from the nearby woods demanding money. When Ludlow tries to reason with them, their ringleader, Danny (Noel Fisher), shoots Red. Tracking down the boy's father Michael (Tom Sizemore), and receiving no justice from the family, or later the courts, Ludlow realises he has no option but to claim it himself, by whatever means he sees fit.
