Given the new technological advances and their influence and imprint in the design and development of dictionaries and lexicographic resources, it seems important to put together a series of publications that address this new situation, dealing in particular with multilingual and electronic lexicography in an increasingly digital, multilingual and multicultural society. This is the main objective of this volume, which is structured in two central aspects. In the first of them the concept of multilingual lexicography is discussed in regard to the influence that the Internet and the application of digital technologies have exercised and continue to exercise both in the conception and design of dictionaries and new lexicographic application tools as well as the emergence of new types of users and forms of consultation. The role of the dictionary must necessarily be related to social development and changes. In the second thematic section, different dictionaries and resources that focus on a multilingual and electronic approach to the linguistic data for their lexicographical treatment and consultation are presented.

Die Beitrage in diesem Band setzen sich mit verschiedenen Problemen der kontrastiven Lexikographie auseinander, insbesondere unter Berucksichtigung des Einsatzes von (Online-)Worterbuchern im Fremdsprachenunterricht. Die zweisprachige Lexikographie wird hier aus lexikographischer und nutzerorientierter Perspektive beleuchtet. Leitfaden fur die verschiedenen Beitrage ist die Frage nach der Zukunft der kontrastiven Lexikographie."

Der zweite Band der Monographie umfasst das deutsch-spanische Verbvalenzlexikon. Die kontrastiv und valenzfundiert beschriebenen Verben sowie ihre zielsprachlichen AEquivalente veranschaulichen verschiedene Verbklassen und Satzbauplane, Erganzungstypen und verschiedenartige kontrastive Begebenheiten. Aus der Analyse der deutschen Verben sowie der uber 500 spanischen Entsprechungen lassen sich tiefgreifende Einblicke in den sprachwissenschaftlichen Vergleich beider Sprachen gewinnen. Das Woerterbuch kann im Bereich der Fremdsprachendidaktik, der Romanistik und Germanistik, der kontrastiven Sprachwissenschaft sowie der UEbersetzung Anwendung finden.

Dieses Buch bietet einen Gesamtuberblick uber die Entwicklung der Dependenz- und Valenzgrammatik sowie des Valenzbegriffes. Veranschaulicht am Sprachenpaar Deutsch-Spanisch eroeffnet es neuartige Wege zur Beschreibung der Verbvalenz. Besonderen Eingang finden die unterschiedlichen Ansatze im Rahmen der Valenzgrammatik, der Zusammenhang zwischen der Valenztheorie und anderen Theorien, die haufig genannten Beschreibungsgrenzen der Valenztheorie und die damit zusammenhangenden Missverstandnisse. Neben der kontrastiven Darstellung der Verbvalenz unter Berucksichtigung lexikographischer und grammatischer Aspekte erlautern die Autoren das lexikographische Verfahren, das der Erstellung des "Verbvalenzlexikons Deutsch-Spanisch" im zweiten Band zugrunde liegt.
