In this context, the concept of security governance has risen to prominence and has inspired much valuable research. Yet, there are not only very different conceptual understandings of security governance; there is also a lack of clarity regarding its empirical manifestations and normative connotations. After a decade of research, this book therefore puts security governance to the test and scrutinises its analytical and political pitfalls and potentials. It reviews the concept of security governance and identifies central conceptual, empirical and normative challenges that need to be addressed. Moreover, this book scrutinises critical examples of security governance from EU security policy as well as in a comparative regional perspective. Case studies include EU efforts to counter piracy off the coast of Somalia, combat terrorism inside European societies and protect critical infrastructures. Der Teil II. beschreibt zunachst alle wichtigen Gesichtspunkte, die ein Altunternehmen gern erfullt sehen mochte, wenn er das Unternehmen an seinen Nachfolger ubergibt. Die Punkte werden in diesem Teil allgemein beschrieben, d. h. sie waren auf jeden anderen Nachfolgefall ubertragbar. Es geht um den Familienfrieden, den es zu erhalten gilt und die gerechte Behandlung der weichenden Erben. Ausserdem wird in diesem Teil der Fall des Rechtsstreits und der Prozesskosten betrachtet. Die vorweggenommene Erbschaft ist ebenfalls kurz theoretisch behandelt. In Teil III. geht es dann um die Darstellung des Nachlasses in der Fallstudie. Hier werden alle betrieblichen und privaten Vermogensgegenstande des Unternehmers beschrieben. Danach werden die Familienverhaltnisse dargestellt mit dem bisherigen und zukunftigen Werdegang der Kinder. Schliesslich erklart der zukunftige Erblasser seine Vorstellungen und Auflagen nach denen er sein Vermogen zu verteilen wunscht. In Teil IV. geht es dann darum, den Nachlass im Rahmen einer gesetzlichen Erbauseinandersetzung nach den Regeln des BGB an die Nachfolgegeneration zu ubergeben. In diesem Teil wird davon ausgegangen, dass keine letztwillige Verfugung des Erblassers vorliegt. Alle entstehenden Kosten und Steuerbelastungen sollen in diesem Punkt zu einem Ergebnis zusammengefasst werden. Teil V. wird dann die Ideallosung darstellen, begonnen mit einem Mustertestament, nach dem dann alle Wunsche des Erblassers berucksichtigt werden. Mit eingearbeitet werden auch hier die steuerrechtlichen Folgen und Kosten fur Testamentsaufstellung und Beglaubigung durch einen Notar. Auch hier wird dann alles in einem Gesamtergebnis z
