On the one hand the diversity is regarded as a resource for rich scientific development on the other hand it gives rise to the often repeated criticism of the discipline's lack of focus and identity. As one way of focusing on core issues of the discipline the book seeks to open up a discussion about fundamental ideas in the field of mathematics education that permeate different research domains and perspectives. The book addresses transformation as one fundamental idea in mathematics education and examines it from different perspectives. Ungeachtet der breiten und intensiven Nutzung digitaler Medien in der Studieneingangsphase - insbesondere im Bereich mathematiknaher Studiengange - bleiben viele Facetten dieses Einsatzes nach wie vor unklar. Insbesondere ist wenig daruber bekannt, wie sich das Mathematiklernen mit Lernvideos, Moodle-Lektionen oder anderen instruktionalen Medien in Lernendenpaaren gestaltet. Diesem Forschungsfeld widmete sich das vom BMBF gefoerderte Projekt mamdim - Mathematiklernen mit digitalen Medien.Im vorliegenden Band werden, basierend auf der detaillierten Darstellung funf erfolgreicher Gestaltungskonzepte verschiedener Hochschulstandorte, Beitrage zu zentralen Fragen des beschriebenen Forschungsfeldes geleistet: Wie intensiv kommunizieren paarweise Lernende uber zentrale mathematische Inhalte? Koennen bestimmte Gestaltungsmerkmale der eingesetzten Medien eine solche mathematikbezogene Kommunikation anregen? Wie wirken sich Lernvideos und andere Medien auf Motivation und Selbstkonzept der Lernenden aus? Was sind erfolgreiche Gestaltungskonzepte fur digitale Instruktionsformate? Welche Rolle spielt die Anfertigung und Nutzung klassischer handgeschriebener Notizen beim Lernen mit den digitalen Medien? Abschliessend werden die zentralen Ergebnisse zusammengefasst und konkrete Transferempfehlungen fur all jene abgeleitet, die instruktionale Medien konzipieren, konkret gestalten oder einsetzen moechten.

Mittels der Grounded Theory analysiert der Autor Problemlosungen raumlicher Fragestellungen mit 3D-DGS. Er entwickelt eine Nutzertypologie von Anwendern aufgrund identifizierter Bearbeitungsmerkmale in Konstruktions- und explorativen Aufgaben. Innovative Aufgabenstellungen zur Realisierung der Leitidee Raum und Form sowie die Identifizierung von problematischen Konstruktionen und Hurden beim Ubergang von 2D- zu 3D-dynamischen Umgebungen bilden fur Lehrerinnen und Lehrer der Sekundarstufen interessante Bezuge zur praktischen Umsetzung."
