Generally the problems of children were home-centered. The
disturbance in the home is usually reflected in the learning and
social activities of the school. So the school adjustment is very
necessary. The personal and emotional problems of individual should
be due to need for security, recognition, acceptance etc, at home
and also at school which leads to more adjustment. These problems
had rooted in their childhood years. The main intention of the
study is to find the relation of guidance needs of Intermediate
students with Gender, Management, Year of study, Locality, academic
achievement, Caste, Age, Annual income, Father's education,
Father's occupation, Mother's education, Mother's occupation, Type
of family, Residence, Size of the family. In this study different
types of statistical techniques are used - Frequency Distribution
Characteristics, Critical Ratio and One Way ANOVA. Data was
collected from 320 Intermediate students in Chittoor district. This
book is more useful to the teachers, administrators, counselors,
parents and researchers. I do not know to what extent I have
succeeded in my attempt, but I feel this book is more useful to
all.

Value oriented education gives the virtuous inner motives and
actions and the inner consciousness from which more actions emerge
as outer actions. There are several actions which may apparently
seem to be good and right is the outer form, and yet, if there are
not spontaneous expressions of the right fidelity, they cease to
have any moral and spiritual values. Education should foster
universal and external values. In our culturally plural society
good education should be oriented towards the unity and integrity
of our people. The main intention of the study is to find the
relation of attitude towards value oriented education of
intermediate students with group of specific factors. In this study
different types of statistical techniques are used - Frequency
Distribution Characteristics, Critical Ratio and One Way ANOVA. The
present book is aimed to identify the influence of attitude towards
value oriented education of intermediate students with socio -
demographic variables. Data was collected from 300 students in
Kadapa district. This book is more useful to the students,
administrators, parents, counselors and researchers.
