Die funktionale Verhaltensanalyse ermoeglicht es, Symptome von Psychotherapiepatient*innen und Beratungsklient*innen besser zu verstehen und geeignete Hilfsmoeglichkeiten zu entwickeln. Dabei werden nicht nur beobachtbare Verhaltensweisen berucksichtigt, sondern auch innere Prozesse wie Kognitionen, Gefuhle und die Verletzung psychischer Grundbedurfnisse. In diesem Band wird die Methode der funktionalen Verhaltensanalyse Schritt fur Schritt erklart, so dass die Leser*innen sie selber anwenden koennen. Daruber hinaus wird dargestellt, wie auf dieser Grundlage Psychotherapien und psychosoziale Beratungsprozesse geplant werden koennen. Die funktionale Analyse menschlichen Verhaltens hilft bei einer auf die jeweiligen Individuen passgenau zugeschnittenen Fallplanung. Dies gilt fur nahezu jede Problematik, mit der professionelle Helfer in Beratung und Therapie konfrontiert werden.
