This book was out come of an anthropological research work done on the Central Indian Populations. A comparative study was conducted on Tribe, Schedule caste, Backward caste, General caste and Muslims of Sagar (M.P) India.It reflects the Anthropometric features of five different population of different socio-economic and literacy background.From the anthropometric variables Cormic index and Body Mass Index were calculated to assess the nutritional level and analyse the chronic energy deficiency grade of the studied populations. The nutritional level of the population was correlated with their socio-economical and demographic parameters.
