Diabetes mellitus is probably the single most important metabolic
disease and is widely recognized as one of the leading causes of
death and disability in the different countries of the World. It
affects every cell in the body and the essential biochemical
processes that go on there. Even in normal individuals, significant
weight gain results in carbohydrate intolerance, higher insulin
levels and insulin insensitivity in the fat and muscle tissues.
Weight loss can correct all of these abnormalities in many
instances and significantly improves the metabolic disturbance of
diabetes in most of cases. Diabetes is characterized by three
well-known syndromes, polydipsia (excessive thirst), polyphagia
(excessive hunger) and polyuria (excessive urination). Although
different medicines are available for treatment of all kinds of
diabetes including its complications, however, trend local
medicines is increasing day by day due to its non or very less
sides effects us well as due to low cost.
Lignocellulosic biomass is abundant and a renewable resource for
the production of biofuel (bioethanol) by using fermentative
organisms (Sacchromyces cervesiae & Fusarium oxysporum). The
conversion of biomass into maximum yield of glucose is an important
step for the bioethanol production but it requires optimum dilute
acid treatment. Bio-Ethanol production include various steps like;
acid hydrolysis, enzymatic hydrolysis, recovery of glucose and
fermentation. The tremendous amounts of cellulose are available as
municipal and vegetable wastes that can be used for the production
of ethanol. Thus, there is great interest in the use of cellulosic
biomass as a renewable source of energy through breakdown of sugars
that further can be converted to liquid fuel through fermentation
process.I am looking forward to work in a professional and
competitive environment where I can put my best efforts, hard work
and skills to bring up the organization and myself too. I am also a
life long learner and am determined to become a knowledge
professional for keeping abreast with changing technology.
This book contains all my papers on antimicrobial and antioxidant
activity of various plant extracts and how these extracts are
utilized for the development new drugs. This book also represents
quality parameters for the extraction of various plant materials
and how we can check antimicrobial activity against various micobes
insides various animals. Therefore this workwill be useful for the
modern world to develop newdrugs from the varios plant extracts.
