This book reports thermodynamic investigation, analyses, and
options of temperature/humidity control systems and their
technologies for agricultural applications including (but not
limited to) fruits and vegetable storage, poultry air-conditioning,
livestock thermal comfort, and wet market air-conditioning. The
optimum temperature and humidity requirements for these
agricultural applications are identified. Consequently,
energy-efficient heat pump options are explored accordingly. The
book helps to understand and to apply the thermodynamic knowledge
of the energy-efficient systems for agricultural applications.

The book deals with associative effects of leguminous and
non-leguminous fodders. Non-leguminous fodders are mainly used to
meet the dietary requirements of ruminant animals. However, these
grasses are low in crude protein and non-structural carbohydrates
but rich source of structural carbohydrates. This need can be
partially met through the use of leguminous fodders which are rich
in crude protein and non-structural carbohydrates. Feeding
leguminous and non-leguminous fodders in combination provides
better feed for the animals. It results in improved forage intake
as the level of legume in the basal diet is increased up to a
level. Thus optimum benefits may be obtained by using leguminous
fodders at particular level with non-leguminous fodders due to
their optimum positive associative effect at the level.
Over the few decade lot of debates held on the standardization
versus adaptation in the global market but there is no universal
solution for the firms whether to standardize or adapt because each
has its own benefits. I concluded different theories regard
standardization versus adaptation and their influencing factor in
the international market. The case study (Braime group)
standardization versus adaptation compared with different theories
and concluded that there is no firm in the world which completely
adapted or standardized. My dissertation has four question
regarding standardization versus adaptation of marketing mix in the
global market for small medium enterprises which are answered in
context of participant response. My study is qualitative in nature
and no generalization can be drawn from my data because study of
one company. This study shows that cost effective production,
standardized promotion, market differentiate prices and short
distribution channel fruitful for small medium enterprises. This
study has importance for company management particularly marketing
department. The company is worldwide manufacturer of high quality
material handling and electronic components
