Aus dem Bericht geht hervor, dass das selbstgesteckte Ziel von 2006, die schlimmsten Formen der Kinderarbeit bis 2016 zu beseitigen, nicht erreicht werden kann. Laut der Internationalen Arbeitsorganisation gab es 2008 uber 215 Millionen Kinder, die arbeiten gehen mussten, um zu uberleben. Davon leisteten 115 Millionen Kinder gefahrliche Arbeiten. Dazu zahlen die Arbeit an gefahrlichen Orten sowie unter erschwerten Bedingungen, wie Nachtarbeit oder zu viele Arbeitsstunden. Wie die Entwicklung sich verandert hat, wird im neuen Bericht der IAA, welcher im April 2013 erscheint, dargelegt. Eine wesentliche Verbesserung der Zahlen ist aber kaum zu erwarten. Seit ihrer Grundung spielt das Thema Kinderarbeit eine zentrale Rolle bei der Arbeit der IAO. Die Ausarbeitung von Konventionen, welche die Kinderarbeit verbieten bzw. einschranken, ist ein wichtiger Schritt bei der Bekampfung des Problems. Dennoch wird immer wieder kritisiert, dass die Durchsetzung der Normen nicht streng genug befolgt wird und bei Verstossen der Staaten die IAO kaum handelt

Jahrhundert zuruck und sehen den Anfang bei der franzosischen Autorin Christine de Pizan ." In England sowie in anderen europaischen Staaten begann die Frauenbewegung mehrheitlich im 18. Jahrhundert. Einzelne Manner und Frauen, beflugelt durch die Aufklarung und die Verkundung der Erklarung der Menschen- und Burgerrechte im Jahr 1789, forderten nun vermehrt die Gleichstellung der Frau gegenuber dem Mann. Drei Autoren, welche die Geschichte der englischen Frauenbewegung massgeblich mitbestimmt haben, waren Mary Wollstonecraft sowie John Stuart Mill und seine Frau Harriet Taylor Mill. Von franzosischen Frauen wie Olympe de Gouges inspiriert, eroffnete Mary Wollstonecraft mit ihrer Schrift Ein Pladoyer fur die Rechte der Frauen" (A Vindication of the Rights of Woman) im Jahr 1792 die politische Diskussion um die Stellung der Frau in der Gesellschaft. Auch in Spanien wuchs das Interesse an Kriminalgeschichten in den vergangenen Jahren. Einer der bekanntesten Vertreter dieser Gattung ist Manuel Vazquez Montalban, der mit seiner Krimireihe um den Protagonisten Pepe Carvalho zahlreiche Preise gewann. Doch lange Zeit war es in Spanien nicht moglich so offen, wie es Montalban in seinen Romanen macht, uber die spanische Gesellschaft und vor allem uber den Polizeiapparat zu schreiben. Unter der Diktatur von Francisco Franco konnte aufgrund des Zensursystems keine realistische, vom Verbrechen erzahlende Literatur entstehen. Nur vereinzelt veroffentlichten Schriftsteller, wie Mario Lacruz, kriminalistische Romane, welche aber standig im Fokus des Zensursystems standen. In dieser Arbeit soll der spanische Kriminalroman zur Zeit der Diktatur und der Transicion naher untersucht werden. Als Beispiel fur einen Kriminalroman aus der Zeit des Franco-Regimes dient Mario Lacruzs Steckbrief fur einen Unschuldigen" (spanisch El Inocente). Anhand dieser Kriminalgeschichte wird aufgezeigt, welche Umgehungsmoglichkeiten der Zensur Autoren dieser Zeit hatten. Vorab wird ein Uberblick uber das Zensursystem in Spanien in der Zeit von 1936 bis 1975 gegeben. Mit dem Tod Francos beginnt in Spanien die sogenannte Zeit der Transicion. Manuel Vazquez Montalbans Roman Die Meere des Sudens" (spanisch Los mares del sur) soll verdeutlichen, wie nach dem Ende der Diktatur mit der Aufarbeitung des Franco-Regimes in Romanen umgegangen wurde. Die Analyse beider Kriminalromane soll aufzeigen, wie die Autoren die gegebenen sozialen und politischen Umstande ihrer Zeit im jeweiligen Roman verarbeitet haben.
